Mi Favorita is a decent-sized Latin supermarket on Nashville's west side that's stood on that property for decades, containing the Los Potrillos butcher shop for just as many years. In 2022, the tiny strip mall was completely refurbished. When my favorite local Mexican grocer Mazfresco stopped selling grated cotija, I discovered that Mi Favorita was one of the few markets in town where I could find three different brands of finely grated cotija cheese! The array of Mexican spices and dried chiles is substantial, among the best I've seen in Nashville. The employees were quite friendly with me. There are reports of low-quality meat at the carnicería, but I cannot attest to that.

I remember this store was one of the few opened on Christmas Day one year. Me and my friends managed to find everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful Christmas dinner.
