This place has really stepped up their game. We live going to get fish and chips on Wednesdays! The servers remember you and make you feel welcome. The building is also awesome, it has a good indoor bar that connects to a covered patio that extends further to a cool space where they do music a few times a week.

Typical old bar. The only food item I enjoyed were the fries. They're different than any I've had before in a great way. The spicy chicken quesadilla was completely flavorless. Our food took about an hour to come out. Wouldn't recommend unless you're going just for drinks.

Great local spot. Food and service always nice. For your standard fare it's a good option.

Best little gem in the West part of Nashville. Try the food any day! It's amazing!

Nations is a corner bar feel, with a true neighborhood environment, beachy band venue vibe in the back, and a full kitchen serving delicious pub food. A place you'd love to lose time in, and people you enjoy losing it with! My first time visiting here, but I feel like family now, and can't wait to return for more friends and shenanigans!

Walked in and walked out. The smoke was unbearable. So....if you smoke it's your place, if not well.....

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at an establishment. The bartender was rude from the second we sat down. One of my friends ordered their daily special (which they didn’t have at 4 pm on a Thursday) and the rest of us didn’t order anything besides waters and sodas. The bartender then came to our table and kicked us out because we didn’t order anything else. If the place was packed I would’ve understood but it was far from it. If they actually served the specials they were promoting maybe they’d have our business. I will definitely never step foot again in this establishment and I will let all my friends and family know they should do the same. Go across the street to 51 North Taproom. They’re A LOT friendlier there.

Absolutely terrible service. We’ve never been treated so poorly at any restaurant.

It is a long drive for me to get to the Nation's, but I will do it on Fridays as thet is Bean Roll day. The Gold Rush was a much loved hole in the wall in Nashville until the owners wanted to sell more of Nashvilles history. The cook that kept the bean roll going serves them up on Fridays.

Good little dive bar, great staff would of scored higher but toilets were out of service and no point selling beer if there is no where to get rid of it.

I came here by myself and left some hours later knowing a handful of people I hadn't known before - and it wasn't because of Nations Bar and Grill but it was encouraged by the conducive environment and ambiance of Nations Bar and Grill. It's very casual, very friendly, very welcoming and just plain fun. Ever Saturday is bluegrass music and on this particular occasion they put 4 burn barrels in the back lot and had fire ? while the band played, the people danced, strangers became acquainted, and friends reconnected.Drinks were good, music was great, and from what I heard they have really delicious food, as well but all I had was the giant soft pretzel ? and it was honestly the largest soft pretzel I'd ever seen.Overall, coming here was a fun and memorable experience I couldn't see having many other places in Nashville or anywhere for that matter. I recommend it.
