I was in town on business and had a little time on my hands. What better place than to spend 20 or so minutes than an Orvis store. I inquired about the new Helios rod and had the genuine pleasure to have Patrick assist me. Patrick strung up the new Helios, took me outside and gave me plenty of time to shoot some line. Let me be clear, the new Helios is amazing, the service and time Patrick spent with me was even better!
There's a good reason why Orvis is the best, Orvis Nashville proves it.

Bought a orvis rod and real……..had it for years……….broke it catching a big sucker fish in Wisconsin……….they wouldn’t fix or replace it…..won’t ever do business with them again………

The Orvis store is great! Super nice employees to help you pick out your next favorite piece of gear. They also have all the fly fishing gear and knowledge anyone could need!

Just had a very strange experience. I brought in a coupon that had been emailed to me by Orvis only a few days ago. I did notice that the expiration date was for two months earlier, even though they emailed it to me just a few days prior. I asked the register person if they could scan it and see if the email, which again was sent to me by Orvis marketing, was in error, or if it was actually a functioning discount coupon. The register person proceeded to act like I was trying to run some kind of con on them, even after I explained that I purchased a pair of shorts there just last week. The register person explain me that he had been there 10 years and never seen anything like it. I tried to tell him that it was not show photo shopped and even tried to show him the original email. I asked if he could simply scan it and see if this was a valid coupon. He refused to do so until I brought something up for purchase. I left the store and will buy the shorts at another store. I have never been made to feel like that in my life shopping at a store. I will never go back and I will make sure that my family doesn’t either.

Orvis has great clothing for the outdoors and fishing. They also have excellent equipment for fishing, but the most important thing they have is knowledgeable and friendly staff.
