The Ryman Shop is a great and iconic venue, a one-of-a-kind auditorium rich with history and a lovely experience. It is a beautiful and intimate place where you can feel the storied past, featuring original stained glass windows and classic church-style pews for seating. While these pews are tight and not very comfortable, the sound and acoustics are great. The venue offers a self-guided tour with a high-quality historical film, which is a must-do. There is also a nice gift shop for souvenirs and in-house concessions with decent alcohol options like local IPAs and whiskeys, though they are costly. Most staff are found to be kind, helpful, and nice, though service can be rushed when busy. A main negative is that some seats have obstructed views due to support poles. Event security is thorough, so arriving an hour early is advised. It is a unique and wonderful place to catch a show.
Great venue! I saw the best concert here when I took my daughter to see Anne Wilson. It was intimate and she even walked down the aisle right beside us!
