I had to go a bit out of the way to get to a Sally’s, however the great customer service I received from Amanda at this location made it well worth it. She was so incredibly nice and helpful…I’ll continue to choose this one location just because of this interaction - when I have to return.

Cashiers need to make sure that they don't follow customers around. They also should make sure that when a customer enters the store, they are allowed to look at items before being asked if they have any questions. I felt like I was being rushed out of the store, and it wasn't even 6 pm! I was in there maybe four minutes total.

Usually I enjoy coming to this Sally's, but this experience will most definitely be my last. Upon entry, not one, not two, but three different staff members hopped down my throat with loud and mildly aggressive greetings. I understand that you need to greet your customers, but after clearly hearing the first person about, "HI WELCOME IN DO YOU NEED HELP NO OK WELL JUST LET US KNOW", I feel like the other two sales staff were really unnecessary. I knew what I was shopping for and I knew where it was located. I didn't need help, I didn't have questions. After grabbing my items and turning to check out, one of the aforementioned sales staff looks at me, looks at my selection, and very snottily berates me for the products I have chosen, treating me like I was stupid for knowing what I wanted to buy. Keeping in mind, I did NOT indicate that I needed help, and was really trying to make this a five minute venture at most. Unfortunately that individual was also the one to see me at the register and kept up the condescending demeanor until I left the store. Thanks for the few years of pleasantries, but I'm pretty good to not deal with any of that again. There's a beauty supply store on the other side of Gallatin, I bet they'd be happy to receive my patronage without being on a high horse about it.

Needed one items showed up to the location 15 minutes before they closed which I understand is pushing it ‘ cause who wants to be the last customer when I arrived they had already closed the door and there was two ladies inside when I asked them if I could come in and purchase an items I would be in and out, one of them started yelling saying she didn’t care. She had to count her drawer so she could leave. She still had 15 minutes before closing and she was very rude she could have just said no sorry but the attitude for a customer service representative was just uncalled for sally’s you really need to do better with the people you hire.

Store supposed to be open til 7 I rushed our here for nothing. Got here at 650 and the doors are locked. Fix your hours on your door AND online

So let me explain. The gentleman with the long hair is amazing. He's knowledgeable and attentive, hard working, professional, funny, friendly, has great customer service, I can go on and on. However, some others seem to not want to be there and it shows when they barely look up from their phone to ask if you need anything in the most "kill me now" tone of tones. I was expecting stock of my go to item, and knew it had come in, but since the awesome guy hadn't been there, it sat in the back. When I did come in to check stock he let me know he would try to get it out, and so I expected that his relief would continue once he left. I was wrong. So I was pretty annoyed coming by, expecting to purchase as many of my item that I could, to see someone chilling on her phone doing as close to nothing as possible, leaning on the counter, staring at her phone, with no customers in the store, and seeing that yet again, it STILL wasn't put out, knowing that if I asked if she could get one from the back, that most likely I would get a "sorry we're out" (like before.) When she asked, still looking at her phone, "Can I help you with something?" in the most "Can I leave now?" sad, SAD tone, I, seeing it not there, walking out, said "nope, of course it hasn't been put out yet, SHOCKER!" as I exited the building. Uncalled for on my part. I know. But I didn't directly address her, or demean her, or call her derogatory names. I was annoyed with the situation. If customers are obviously frustrated, I get that people have bad days, and dont take it personally. She took it personally. She decided to yell a smart mouth response back that I won't repeat due to language, when I was already outside. Walking away I just flipped her off in response. So now we're both douchebags. She then screamed lovely names at me as I kept walking. I shouldn't have been mouthy in the first place. But perhaps if she, I DONT KNOW, DID HER JOB...So rather than rely on one awesome person to do the work of 4 people while the others hold up the counter, staring at their phones, who I have only seen doing actual work when the awesome guy is there, I'll just order online from now on. I'm too old and angry to deal with it.

I’ve been a Salon owner for over 35 years and shopped at many Sally stores and I have to say that the Management & Staff at the Madison Tn location is by far the best! These days its really hard to find friendly, customer service but the employees there seem to really like their job and are very knowledgeable on their products in the store. The gentleman who is the manager of that location is super friendly, kind and always looks professional and I appreciate that when I go into a business to spend my money.

I came into this location looking for 1 specific item. Upon arrival I was greeted by both employees whom were the sweetest they could be! Both immediately assisted in looking for my requested item but we couldn’t find - they were both so helpful & quick to apologize for the out of stock item. Literally some of the best customer service & attitudes I’ve seen in a very long time! ** 10 out of 10 recommend this location!! **

Ele the manager is phenomenal!! She always has the best product recommendations and truly takes the time to listen to shopper's needs. Also, she hires amazing employees! I came in the other weekend, needing to quickly take out a bright blue I had just applied earlier in the week. Josh and Nic helped me pick the perfect products, that kept my over processed hair from becoming a complete disaster. Additionally, they were incredibly kind and considerate when I burst into tears in the middle of telling them what I was needing. Hands down the best Sally location I have ever been to, and I'm a committed Sally shopper.
