My car was damaged while at Polly’s Service Center for an oil change. When I picked up my car, Polly's had it parked across the street on Belmont Blvd.My oil change was on Thursday, 10/19, my car remained parked in my driveway until Sunday, 10/22, when I noticed the damage. I called Polly’s Monday morning, 10/23, and they told me the owner was out of town and nothing could be done until he returned the following Monday, 10/30 (today).I called this afternoon, and the owner, Kenny, told me the damage absolutely did not happen there - though it did, and that it’s been too long now anyway, so there wasn’t anything he’d do about it.How can Polly’s guarantee the damage did not happen while in their care when they parked my car across the street on Belmont Blvd., where it could easily have been side-swiped?Use their services at your own risk.Service: Oil change

As an out-of-towner who was in a collision and didn't know what to do, I went to the first place with good reviews I saw; and I am glad that I did. The mechanic at Polly's made sure my car was safe to drive until I could get body repairs and explained everything to me so that I would have peace of mind. They even gave me a recommendation for a body shop! Can't thank them enough. Truly the nicest people who put my mind at ease when I was feeling pretty frantic.Service: Battery

When you visit Polly's, it's an emersion back in time. You end up conversing with fellow waiting customers with their car/trip stories. It's so much friendlier than the mega dealerships awaiting to overcharge you for the same services.

So thankful for Polly’s! They explained to our son what was wrong, charged a fair price and really made us feel at ease living 600 miles away.

Mr. Kenny and team are great. Having a nearly 50-year old Bronco, there's always something that needs to be worked on and fortunately older cars are their specialty. There's been a couple times I was convinced the problem was something that needed to be replaced (and expensive) only to have them work their magic and have it running as good as new for only a fraction of what I thought it would cost.Im not saying that every fix will be cheap, but these are some of the most honest mechanics in town. If they make a recommendation, there's no need for a 2nd opinion, they're suggesting what's best.

I'm in Houston and my daughter is at college in Nashville. Her truck started leaking power steering fluid. She took it to Polly's and they took fantastic care of her. It was just a hose that needed to be tightened and that's all they did! They could have easily gouged her for a new pump or worse, but they were honest and just fixed what was really wrong. She had her truck back the same day. Being 700 miles away is tough on this single mom but knowing she can take her truck to Polly's for repair makes me feel so much better. Thanks for your honesty and care of these college kids from out of state!

I love this place. I have been taking my car there for over 15 years for routine maintenance and for particular issues. They have never ever recommended work that is not needed. I have taken my car when I thought maybe the brakes needed replacing, and they have told me that I could wait another 10,000 miles. In other words, given the opportunity to replace parts before needed, they still didn't take it. They are not necessarily "cheap," but you get great quality service and a number of interesting personalities to boot!

First, I went to Pollys and on a couple items for my new, used car they fixed a wire or did some little fix instead of replacing things. I’m sure they saved me $1500. So the other week I sent my elderly/Boomer father there, who if possible knows less about cars than me, and they talked him out of replacing his transmission and got him going cheaply also. There’s probably a lot of people who can fix cars but everyone in the world is an honest. Pollys is honest and they can fix cars.

Polly's is a great service center. I had a problem with my engine that was difficult to diagnose. Another garage proposed an expensive repair, but said they couldn't be sure it would fix the problem. By contrast, Dale at Polly's ordered two parts, tried first one, then the other, and found that together they fixed the problem. THEN he proposed the repair to me. He is a wonderful mechanic. I will continue bringing my car to Polly's.

I'd just bought a used car, and it was only starting when it felt like it. Was recommended to Polly's for an inspection. An INSPECTION, and to fix whatever was keeping my car from starting. I left with the installation of $34 dollar windshield wipers and 3 bucks tacked on for the fluid. I also left with an oil change. So 35 for materials and then $45 labor tacked on. Not only did I get no feedback on the car, having brought it in specifically to be inspected to make sure there were no major issues with it, they couldn't figure out why the car wouldn't start half of the time. First, I've always just grabbed my windshield wipers from either Costco, or Auto Zone! Never more than $14-15 tops. Hell, the guys at Auto Zone even INSTALLED them for me, free of charge! I also asked if he could fix the trunk...as it's VERY hard for me to lift up. He told me he "could" fix them with some coils of some sort? But said it like it wasn't really needed. It's NEEDED. It's very, very heavy as the springs aren't working at all. The gas door wasn't opening either. So I let him know that. Now, when I pull the lever to at least pop the trunk open, I walk to the trunk, and the gas door is wide open. He basically told me that he can't fix it, because he couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start, because he got it to start every time when it was there. So I left there having paid $130 for basically an oil change. And now I need to find a mobile mechanic who's *cough, choke* HONEST, that won't charge me $500 for a bad alternator! So now, I've missed a doctors appointment last Friday, because this time, my car first wouldn't start again. Then it started attempting to start, you know, the sick horse whining sound, but it still never started. I'm a single 53 year old woman, with only SSDI for my income and have a little leftover from buying the car with insurance money. My income is just barely over $900. And a small amount of cash left over from the insurance money I got from my car being totaled. GOD how I miss that car... started every time... with just a push of a button. If anyone happens to read this and knows of a decent, honest, mobile mechanic, would you PLEASE message me asap? I'm already going through a deep depression. Now I don't have reliable transportation to get to my support for it.
