Wanted to share a quick note regarding Yvonne Love who I recently had the pleasure of working with on my auto loan (app# 174232).She is extremely patient, understanding and empathetic which I know because I constantly peppered her about my application although it had only been submitted a couple days during the Coumbus Day holiday week.I greatly appreciated her kind and soft-spoken demeanor and lightning fast assistance and follow ups to ensure my approval crossed the finish line before the end of the holiday week.Experiences like this are exactly why I chose SFCU and also recommend to my friends & family. I have used SEFCU for going on 7 years. In that time I have financed 6 cars, 1 boat, 1 tractor and had 2 personal loans. I have always enjoyed working with the credit union, specifically with Linda and Megan.Recently, I had an issue come up regarding picking up the title of a vehicle. However, the downtown branch along with Kyle in back office quickly jumped into action to assist in resolving the issue. This effort was a reminder of why I have had 10 loans written with SEFCU. Great people. I recommend you visit them for your financial service needs.

I'm a 12 year member. There is absolutely no relationship with anyone at the credit union. Like all financial institutions right now, the rates are dismal, but no one ever makes a suggestion on a better use of funds. I now find myself transferring funds out every month to take advantage of other investments. I maintain multiple accounts at SFCU, but see that winding down ... at least trimming the balances.

I have always had an amazing experience with them every time I have used them. They have been nothing but helpful to me and my family. Always there to answer your questions. I have never once spoke to a rude employee. I will continue to use them for all my needs.

I recently had a issue with a overdraft charge and I was a little upset about it, not going into the details but I called the customer service department and explained it, Southeast help me with my concerns and I am so grateful and I work with some young people who don't want to use banks and I try to explain why a credit union is a good option to have your payroll deposited in the credit union ( only need $5 $10 start opening account and you still can setup a Xmas club saving for your Christmas by putting aside some of your money through the year and then your credit union will send you a check for Black Friday sales

I called this place to ask a simple question, but they put me on hold for 3 minutes until 6pm, their closing time, and I hear Click! Hung up on me. Very rude. This kind of act wont get my business neither should any1 else support them.

This place does business with bad car dealerships. They will report everything negative to creditors and quarterly charge you thousands for in-house insurance if you do not provide proof of insurance.

I was approved for a personal loan, with my credit being 790. Easy process. Then I received a very unprofessional email about “you didn’t do this right” and “I need these things”. So I call the representative that approved the loan and emailed me and she was nothing but rude on the call. I just had some questions and she would cut me off, correct me with attitude, and almost sass my comments or questions as if it was my job and I’m stupid for not knowing this stuff. I have decided to not take the loan, yes it would have helped me with some personal matters, but I do not want to have to work with her ever again. I used to recommend Southeast financial, I never will again. I know they don’t care to read this comment or fix what happened, but at least people looking for reviews will be able to see this!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS PLEASE BELIEVE ME I WOULD! I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES SINCE DEALING THIS CREDIT UNION AND IT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE FROM BEGINNING TO END! I HAVE ALWAYS PAID MY CAR PAYMENT BY MAIL CERTIFIED AND NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN, TWO FREAKING CAR PAYMENTS ARE JUST UP AND FREAKING MISSING! I HAVE ALWAYS PAID THIS WAY NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S GHOST! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

They made my day. Called and they took care of everything in hours to get the vehicle I wanted with low apr. Very hard working friendly lady helped me. She made sure I made it through the process. So helpful and professional.

I applied for a car loan at 8:30pm, last night. I was expecting a call this morning as per the website. I have had to phone them 5 times today, and have not been able to speak to the loan officer handling my application. Eventually got hold of a lady that had answered my call through the day, and she was kind enough to let me know that it looked like I had been turned down. Before anyone thinks that it is sour grapes, it is not. When I asked if they were still going to give me a call or email me I was told no they couldnt do that as they would be on the phone all day and emailing all day if they were to do that, when I asked when I would find out, I was told I would get a letter in the mail. Now I am sure that everyone knows when trying to buy a car it takes very little time to get financing one way or another and you dont have all day to wait for an answer as the car you want to buy may be gone by then, let alone a couple of days via a letter in the mail. So I have wasted a whole day trying to get a car loan, (and strictly speaking I am still waiting for an answer)where I should have gone to the dealer and spent 3 hours. Never again Southeast Financial. Check Google as well.

I could never speak to anyone on the phone, only by email. This makes things extremely difficult because of all the questions. I ended up getting my financing through a totally different place and it was so much easier and less stressful. After I was told I was approved, then was told I was denied. Now I just got an email saying I was approved! It’s so unorganized.

I have had nothing but positive experiences in dealing with this bank. I found the employees and loan officers to be friendly and helpful. I will continue to utilize their services even though I have moved out of state.
