Stones River Dog Park is a peaceful and spacious area with plenty of parking and beautiful views of the nearby dam. The park offers a well-maintained enclosed space for dogs to run, sniff, and play freely. It is generally not crowded, with few dogs seen during early mornings and late evenings. Visitors actively clean up after their pets, and dogs tend to get along well, forming small groups. The park has some shaded areas, although shade and seating options are limited. There are toys like balls and frisbees available for dogs, but bringing personal toys is recommended. Water and bowls are provided, though water is turned off when temperatures drop. The park is close to fishing spots and a trail that leads to a YMCA and Lebanon Pike, making it convenient for outdoor activities. Nearby restrooms and porta potties are available, and the surrounding grassy areas are suitable for picnics and relaxing. Overall, Stones River Dog Park is a lovely, well-maintained spot with a friendly community and scenic surroundings.
Went there for the first time today. Amazing new spot, so much room to run, fresh water from the faucet in the middle of the park, perfect for my two dogs. Beautiful view of the dam as well.

The dog park itself was great, in the trail next to it is nice as well. There was broken bottles on our walk-in from the dog park in the grass, so that wasn't comforting.
Dogs are all in one area, no small dog/big dog area.

Loved it. Even though it was by a large dam the area was quiet and beautiful. Hopefully we'll go back k there to visit.
