I was wondering why after 10 days I still didn’t have my replacement debit card in my possession. Upon calling customer service, I was told said debit card was never actually ordered despite being told by this branch that they “went ahead and ordered a new one”. Avoid this branch at all costs. Incompetent staff.

We heard this place had amazing appetizers, and we waited to be seated for an hour before finally giving up. Do not go to this restaurant! I’m sure they have great food, but terrible service.

GO SEE CASCEY PARKER (Dickerson Rd Branch)! I have never been in a bank and had FUN! but Mrs. Parker is a breath of fresh air. I can honestly say, I laughed the entire time I was there. That felt good to have that type of customer service. She helped me get my accounts straightened out, provided me with some great information about life insurance, and helped me get my online banking set up. She took time to ask me about my needs and provided me with my options. I was truly impressed with that level of care.

Worst banking branch I've every had the miss fortune to deal with and in my opinion Truist is one of the overall worst banks. Went in to the Branch on Commerce St in Nashville and inquired with Tiffany at the counter about being able to do an international wire transfer via the phone as I am out of the country quite often. She was argumentative and said it could not be done. I went back and forth with this rude person before finally asking for the manager. I ended up speaking with Marcus who was trying to be helpful but did not understand the process he inquired with Brooke who confirmed it could be done but I needed to sign some documents. I mentioned the poor service with Tiffany and Brooke did not seem to care. Her help was very poor as well. I ended up signing the documents with Marcus who had to inquire with Brooke for every question I had. This was through their chat process as Brooke was apparently to busy to help. She also said it would take two days, I signed the documents and left just to find out it's two days to process and 5-7 to get the pin. My wife called and spoke with Brooke to see if we could get this overnighted since I had left he branch and was traveling that day. Brooke was just as useless to my wife who ended up getting transferred 4 times and while Brooke said we could speak to the wire department and transferred us to someone in the Philippines who also could not help. She finally got to someone who said the wire department does not take calls. So in essence Brooke appeared to have lied to us - BTW this was Friday afternoon so apparently I believe she did not want to help us.Still unresolved. I will be moving my money from Truist - terrible bank and poorly trained and unhelpful people.

I've been trying to close a Nashville account for 3 months since we now live in another state. It can't be done online and the "chat" people won't do it either. The only way is to call the branch or via USPS mail. I've called the Brentwood TN branch a dozen times. No one ever answers and the phone system usually just takes you in circles when you try to connect to VM. However, even when I was able to leave a message, no one has EVER returned the call. On top of that, the account has to be at a zero balance before they will close it, but will charge a fee for an account with zero balance. So if the mail doesn't get to them on the day the check clears to zero it out, they charge the fee and won't let you close the account. I tried the main Nashville office today and it's "temporarily closed". Maddening.

Am I the only one that think it’s rude and a violation of privacy when you change your address due to a move only to have them send it to the previous address with your name and new residence listed? (Think about it. It’s pretty messed up. The power of information. What someone can do with just a name and location. It actually pretty frightening) Also don’t say it’s computer generated because it’s actual people mailing off those notifications. That’s unbelievably rude. I’m closing out my accounts because it’s not the only problem with this company. Enough is enough. I’m through. They’re pretty rude. They actually made me cry twice at the Sterling VA location and lied multiple times to my face and withheld my funds previously. I actually had to find a manager to have his teller return my money after they watched me close my account the first time. I don’t know why I gave them a second chance. When you have a bad feeling about a company trust yourself. Don’t give them a chance to mess things up and add more stress to your life.

I walked into the location to do a wire transfer. After sitting in Janice's office for about 10 minutes watching her go through a very unorganized desk looking for her "pin number". Apparently w/o this said pin number, Janice is unable to do her job. So I had to LEAVE and go to another branch because of incompetence and lack of preparation to do one's job. Completely unprofessional!!!

Wanted to charge me $7 to cash a check from their bank because I was not a customer myself. I would be outraged if they charged someone I wrote a check to after paying fees for a checking account. That's why I'm not a customer.

This entire team helped me through the most troubling time in my finances. From the teller to the branch manger, I felt so taken care of. I must have come to them with my banking issues 6 times in two weeks and they were nothing but courteous, patient, kind, and helpful. This team is full of angels and I have each of them to thank, dearly.
