The worst is the bank. I lost $800 to a hack, and it took me a very long time to get my money back. In addition, I still don't have a credit card after more than a month has passed. I made multiple calls! Why must I pay you thirty dollars to get some inexpensive plastic supplied in three days? DON'T! I repeat! Don't bank with this cheap a** bank.

Well, the other reviews act like this place SUCKS lol. I never spoke with any of the people at the counter but the three guys that I did speak to were incredibly friendly and helpful and accommodating.

They put holds that are against federal regulations on checks. Certified checks not cashiers check with have a 9 day hold on it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you are setting up an account. They do not have instance access debit cards not even temp cards. They will hold your funds against regulation CC and regulation D guide liens

They have updated their calling methods because I used to be able to call and make a payment on a loan directly at my branch. Now, you sit through an automated list and can sit for an hour or more on hold just to make the payment. It's awful. How can I pay my loan when they won't answer?? I don't live close to their branches because I moved for school. I want to transfer my loan. This is ridiculous.

My debit card was canceled due to fraudulent activity at the end of September. I was told that if I waited a few weeks, I would receive the new replacement **** card that was being issued to all members. It ended up taking extra time for them to roll out, but I was assured that I'd be receiving it closer to November, even though I didn't have an active card. I waited and waited, then contacted them 11/20 to see where my card was, and to let them know my phone had been shut off because a card was the only form of payment my cell company would accept. On 11/21 they responded saying since I didn't have an active debit card on file, I wasn't on the list for a replacement card (which I was already reassured wouldn't happen), and they'd expedite a card to me. It came via *** but was completely destroyed beyond use, so I got ahold of them AGAIN to let them know what happened, and they said they'd expedite another card to me. It is 12/8, I've had a phone shut off, subscriptions canceled, no card for purchases for Christmas for my family of 8, NO CARD in the mail today either! They said I had other options to make payments~ write a check, pull cash (they're not open 24/7), blah blah blah. If I didn't have a loan through them I'd pull my money and be gone yesterday. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I get an uncomfortable response everytime I visit this location. They are very, very selective on loans. I think there is definitely more ill intentions towards it. Their practices are not all the way moral. I will be closing my account and will no longer be a member with them this week.

Literally the worst bank i’ve ever dealt with. Do NOT get a loan from this bank. You will be jumping through hoops to make your monthly payments. App is terrible and has basically no functionality. The automated phone system is completely broken, never directs calls to the right place, tells you that an option you’ve submitted is invalid. Just all around terrible experience. I’m looking into ways to transfer my loan.

They put my account in dormant activity but I have money direct deposit into this account every two weeks when I get paid. Then they charger me a $10 fee for putting my account into dormant. I'm trying to save money and because I don't take any out I am being punished.

I paid two months in advance for my Tesla because I was going out of the country and they only marked the payment as LATE (by 30 days)!! After I paid early!! Wtf?! My credit score just dropped 172 points. I constantly have issues with this credit union and have never had any issues with ascend or cornerstone in town, or any others for that matter. About to bring a legal suit and my business elsewhere if it's not fixed asap.

Friendly employees. Lines here move slowly though. Pick an off time to come. They're closed on weekends. Not sure why they have a year round Christmas tree ? in the lobby?

I bank at the Bellevue branch and I have been with Tennessee teachers credit union for about 14 years. Since they moved to Bellevue, it has been the worst banking experience I’ve ever had, and all my banking life. The lobby is never open. I go to the drive-through and be the only Customer they have to make a deposit in my checking account and it takes them 15 minutes to do a simple check deposit to check in account. We will definitely be moving our banking account. I never write reviews, but this has been one of the worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank.

I have spoke with three different associates all of whom were supposed to call me back to address an error on their side. No one seems to want to provide customer service at this institution. Oh, don’t fall for them letting you leave a message for the branch manager to call you back because the issue you are having has happened before and it needs to be addressed. Passing the buck.Update, I was contacted directly by executive management and they worked diligently to repair issues and exceeded my expectations.

I am strongly considering closing my account here. I’ve banked here for years. I like the people at the Cookeville location just fine. However, I was charged $20 for not using my business account. It put the balance at -$20 and I had to pay to close it or I would end up getting charged another $20. The manager said she could not do anything about it unless it was the banks error. I was given no warning this would occur. Just poor bank policy and feels like legalized theft. It’s not right. 2 stars because the rest of the staff are always friendly and are good people.

I'm trying to check the status on my loan application, the only directory that works is collections and after they send me to the loan department it drops the call telling me it's an invalid selection...Everyone on the phone is nice, their user-interface is terrible and feels rigged to only recieve money.

Extremely poor customer service and very archaic processes. They now allow ZERO transfers from outside institutions. Thnis makes it nearly impossible to do business in today's digital world. If I could go back and NOT finance my vehicle with them I definitely would. ZERO STARS. DO NOT recommend.
