I purchased 3 Sanken Cos-11d mics and a few accessories all at once. I had them for 2 days before TWO broke at the connector. I called in to the store and was upset because I have never had cables break like this and supposedly these mics are very strong and can take a beating. I was informed by Kelly that he would get them repaired free of charge since it happened so quick, not to mention it was within 3 hours of using them on set. After sending the mics back, they called and said I now had to pay for the repair. Completely backing out of the promise and expectation that was made to me. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars from Trew audio and I was genuinely upset that they went back against their word. Kelly handed me off to the manager Rob who basically told me to "F" Off. He never once apologized for Kelly promising me something that he had no business promising. He never once tried to make amends or save me as a loyal customer. Then after 25 minutes or so on the phone in a very snarky way he says "the repair is only 65$". ALL OF THIS FRUSTRATION for a 65 dollar repair. The point I make is that as a customer if your employee promises or assures a customer something, that word is bond. Discrediting my frustration, telling me to ask any "Professional" audio person (which is insulting since they assume I'm not a professional), and NOT standing behind your word as a business is upsetting and not good practice. I will NO LONGER host their product links on my Youtube, Tik Tok, or Instagram. This is why companies like B&H are the best. They understand how to take care of customers. They don't belittle them, and they acknowledge when they made a mistake and CORRECT IT! This order I am referencing was about $1400. A complete distrust and brand reputation RUINED over miscommunication from them and measly $65 repair. ROB- if you see this, as a manager you should ensure that ALL of your employees understand the processes and procedures and NEVER make promises that can't be kept. This will prevent any future upset customers. I will now take my business to Gotham Sound, Sweetwater, B&H and Adorama. I've never felt more disrespected and UNHEARD as a customer before in my life.

They used to be amazing. Their return policy, false advertising and items never being in stock has made this store irrelevant to bhphotovideo.com, location sound, etc.

Best audio store! (I go to the Burbank, CA one.) They have a huge selection of all audio equipment you could ever dream of....AND GREAT SERVICE!

Top notch customer service and great communication, both rare nowadays. I have been very satisfied and impressed with the work I've had done at Trew Audio. They took the time to diligently answer my questions with patience and expertise. I recommend them highly!

Unique store to the Nashville market--similar retailers specializing in sound for production film/ TV can only be found in large markets like Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York and similar. The store is reciprocal in loyalty to their customers and offer great service. A real gem in the middle of the North American continent.

The folks at Trew consistently go above and beyond. They are incredibly helpful, always give great advice and suggestions, and the store is very well stocked with everything I need for a shoot. Trew will always be my go-to audio rental and purchase location!

This company was like a hidden gem. I was looking to find a piece of audio equipment for an upcoming press conference. Josh was very informative and set me up with a fantastic alternative without breaking bank. Did a great job without any headaches. Will definitely keep them in mind for my future gigs. Thanks guys!

I almost never write reviews, but I had to make an effort here. This is the short version... due to a scheduling error completely my fault, Spencer B went above and beyond, ON A SATURDAY, came and opened up shop, and rescued this sinking sound mixer (and first day of production) AND I was only 15 mins late to call time. Thank you Trew Audio and your sound service.

Ok this place is amazing on so many levels. Not only do they have everything you could need or want for audio, but the staff is super friendly and helpful! I'm from out of town and needed to rent a comtek and was having a few audio issues too. Josh was amazing from start to finish and even went out of his way to show me what to do to solve the problems I've been having. I was amazed at how knowledgeable he is and super thankful for his recommendations and help. I wish that I lived in the area, but since I don't, I will be ordering from them from now on (instead of B&H). I recommend you check them out too (:
