The workers here are terrible. Literally the worst tropical cafe I’ve ever been to. I made an order for an hour ahead by mistake and arrived an hour early. I showed my proof of receipt and order and was told they couldn’t make my food and that I will have to wait until that original time. That was number 1 for me. So I canceled the order because I couldn’t wait. Got an email that I wasn’t charged. I check my account and was indeed charged. Called the store like the email said and was told they couldn’t do anything and to call my bank. Like just overall ridiculous and I hate to say it but the worker was an Indian lady and she is very rude and talks on the phone like she doesn’t care.

Rude staff. Not fresh. Ordered smoothie it tasted like ice water, and ordered Avocado Grilled cheese which was two pieces of bread smeared with maybe half a slice of avocado and less than a half a slice of both cheese and bacon. Very disappointed.

Worst tropical I've been to. Rude staff, dirty restroom, no military discount (unlike other locations) staff barely spoke English.Often when they make your smoothie, there's a small cup worth of extra smoothie. Every other Tropical I've been to (10+) gives you this; the woman (presumably the owner) refused to do so.Avoid.

I honestly never care to write reviews, but today I had an experience here that left me baffled and disappointed at the horrible customer service of this place. We bring our kids here for smoothies ALL THE TIME and while the people have never been overly friendly or welcoming, we overlooked it as we enjoyed their smoothies well enough. Today I ordered a smoothie for my son and paid 99 cents for their 'edible straw'. The older woman there handed him the straw and walked away. Within 10 seconds of him having it we noticed it was broken inside the paper wrapping. I told my son not to open it and we could ask for an unbroken straw. I politely apologized for 'being a pain' and asked if we could get one that wasn't broken. I was immediately met with hostility when she told me that she "checked" before handing it to us and it wasn't broken. Pointing at my 6 year old and insisting he is the one who broke the straw. Ridiculous. To be honest, even if he had accidentally broken it, it would have been ACCIDENTAL and she could have been nicer in her response to us. I probably would have just paid for another. I was so taken aback by how rude she was and then she proceeded to grab the box of unused straws to show me how none of them are broken "SEEEEE" she said. At this point my irritation took over so I showed her that I could clearly see a broken one in the box and pulled it out to show her. She still rudely refused and emphasized it was my sons fault. We left with the broken straw and will never go back. As someone who has spent my entire life working in customer relations, I can say this is absolutely horrible business and I will never spend another dime there. Now I'm kicking myself that I didn't think to take back my $2 tip and leave with two unbroken straws instead LOL

Tried this restaurant for the first time today . Ordered chicken pesto on flatbread , sweet potatoes , and a sunrise sunset smoothie. Everything was full of flavor and I will definitely be ordering more often!

Chia banana boost was yummy! Subbed the banana for pineapple and did strawberry rather than peanut butter! Highly recommend!!

Fast friendly service! The app they have is a great tool to order ahead! Fresh,quality ingredients in smoothies for sure. No sugar and I like that! The store is very neat and clean!

The worst location. Apparently this is a franchise and this franchise owner does not care about the quality or customer service. The food is below quality at the other store I went to in nashville. I gave this not one but three chances and same bad experience. The ambiance is weird with a few people who did not understand what I said and the manager was so rude.or franchise owner. It sure but she was apparently in charge but basically told me too bad. My chicken was fatty and it made me gag. Cookie was cheap and not like the other location had. Just avoid this place

I’ve been here 3 times and have had rude service and bad smoothies every single time I’ve ordered. I kept giving it another try but I won’t be coming back. I worked at Tropical Smoothie a few years back and know how smoothies are supposed to be made…these ones taste like pure ICE

Love the TSC smoothies and food!However, this location is subpar. The lady taking my order was talking on her bluetooth phone the entire time I was trying to order. She had to ask me to repeat my order because her phone call was distracting her. And I had to ask her to repeat herself because she was mumbling. All in all; great smoothie, but bad customer relations at this location.

The woman who runs this TS is a terrible business person, and an apathetic scammer.We used to come here every week for months, and while the customer service was garbage and the bathrooms never had TP (if it was even open at all) we enjoyed the product.However, after using THEIR TS APP- not a random delivery app- the driver never brought our food and just listed it as delivered.This owner:- lied and said she couldn’t process refunds even though the app customer service says she is responsible for it- wouldn’t replace the order for free to make up for the FORTY DOLLAR LOSS- refused to let us use all of our rewards points for an order to replace the order we lost.- refuses to teach her employees how to process refunds so nobody can refund orders when she isn’t there. We had to come back THREE TIMES to see her in person.- brought up skin color when we claimed the driver never brought our order to our house.Literally we have spent hundreds of dollars here. We each had over 1500 points to spend. We are never coming back.
