I bought a brand new suitcase at the Hermitage Ross location two weeks ago for $80. I fly to Oregon, get off the plane and my new suitcase is busted up in a big way. I look at all the other suitcases on the baggage claim and they are fine. So naturally I take the busted item into Ross and ask for a refund. Any other retailer in 2023 (maybe excepting the dollar store) would have given me a refund no questions asked, but not Ross. The first "manager" says, "Well it's not resalable so we can't take it back," and I laugh because of course it's not resalable. Then manager #2 comes up and says, "Well I have had a lot of suitcases break on the plane," and I said, "After you bought the suitcase two weeks prior?" and he says, "Well, it depends on the quality of the suitcase," and I said, "Yeah, Ross sold me a poor-quality suitcase," and they still wouldn't take my return. I honestly feel bad for these yes-men-managers who do whatever they are told by some corporate executive who makes policies like this and doesn't care about customer satisfaction or experience. Also, I have my full conversation with these managers recorded if corporate would like to listen but what is most likely? A) Ross corporate cares B) Ross corporate doesn't care You know the answer.

Went to get a pair of shoes and was impressed with the selection for an outlet store. I was looking for a style in particular and they were able to locate it at Green Hills for me - which was full price, but I didn't mind since I really wanted that style. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Asked if I needed assistance multiple times.

I can't say enough about how great my experience was today in the store. First, everyone was masked up so a big thank you for that. Secondly both the sales associates that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. They helped me locate several things I was looking for and helped me make informed buying decisions with good questions. When they didn't have a particular item I needed they helped me find it on the vans website and had it shipped to my house for free. I wish all my shopping adventures were this productive and pleasant. I will definitely be returning.

I love Vans with that being said I was really upset to get all the home which is in Indianapolis Indiana and pull my shoes out of the box and see thres no shoe strings I guess that's my own fault for not checking before I left the store
