I called to see if they had a baby float in stock, and they went to check for me. There was only one left, and she put it up front for me. She even looked up the price, without me even asking, so I would know how much it was. So thoughtful and helpful, made my day!

This the worse Walgreens that I have ever been to! The wait is always ridiculous & it’s always something with them, they also never have anything in stock! They should be shut down/closed.

All Walgreens suck. But this location is probably the worst. Pharmacy sucks. Half these people hate their job. Give people the run around. My 92 year old grandmother picks up the same ends every month. And every single month it’s a hassle. If you show up 5-10 mins before their lunch it’s the end of the world and they will tell you to wait until Atleast 2:30pm for pick up. Even tho the doctor called in the meds day before or early that morning. Ridiculous how Walgreens is. I would be ashamed to work for a company that treats people the way they do.

Absolutely trash pharmacy! 2 months in a row they have messed up my daughters medicine that she NEEDS! They say they put her order in because they refuse to keep it in stock, but 2 months in a row they lied and never ordered it so she is having to go without it for weeks! Then the pharmacist is always RUDE! Stay far away from using this pharmacy.

Pharmacy staff seem to think they are qualified to make clinical decisions in the place of a physician treating a patient. They are rude, inefficient and way out of their lane and should be reported to the Board of Pharmacy for the State of Tennessee. Go to another pharmacy.

Walgreens is a very good pharmacy and has many other things that you may need.

I was prescribed an antibiotic for pink eye while pregnant (currently 22 weeks) and listed this Walgreens as my pharmacy. I drive thru on the way home from the doctor to check to see how long it’ll take to fill the prescription, and they say it’s not a normal antibiotic, so they’ll have to get it sent in, which will take 24-48 hours. They said I could call other Walgreens locations to see if somebody else had that antibiotic in stock, but if they didn’t hear from me to switch the location, they’d have it filled the next day or the day after. I called 10+ locations within 30 minutes of me to see if anyone had it, but my efforts were futile. I continued to treat my pink eye naturally until I could get an antibiotic to eliminate the bacteria. The next day goes by, and I didn’t hear anything from the pharmacy. I’ve had bad experiences with the Walgreens I used to go to in Florida, but I assumed they were one-off experiences for those specific locations, but I was wrong. Since I didn’t hear anything back, I called to check to see if they had any updates. The pharmacy tech I spoke to said that they got in stock earlier that day, but they didn’t bother to fill it OR even INFORM me because it’s expensive and they just assumed I wouldn’t pick it up. She also said that they didn’t have the information needed to see if my insurance would cover it. I sat there baffled at the reasoning behind the lack of communication and filling of the prescription before I finally gave her my information so that she could check my coverage and determine payment (which took a grand total of 30 seconds to complete and could’ve been done earlier in the day to see if I could get this antibiotic). She found out that insurance wanted to switch to a cheaper medicine, but they couldn’t change the medicine without permission from the doctor, again, an issue which could have been resolved earlier in the day. She faxed the info over to the doctor, and THREE MINUTES before the pharmacy closed, I finally received a notification that the prescription was filled for the cheaper antibiotic, so I had to wait another night (at this point having dealt with the pink eye while being PREGNANT and trying not to spread the pink eye back to my TODDLER) before I could even pick up the medication.
A bacterial infection is extra dangerous to a pregnant woman, so this negligent behavior could have been detrimental to not only my health but also the health of my unborn child, not to mention I had to deal with this issue while trying to prevent the bacteria from spreading back to my toddler from whom the infection originally came. NEVER doing any kind of business with ANY Walgreens locations ever again.

This pharmacy sucks! They will leave you on hold for the longest when you call 25 minutes prior to closing just so they don’t assist you. All I needed was to confirm my prescription was ready for pick up so I can PICK UP BEFORE THEY CLOSE, since the automated system was unable to find me. I see why this location has poor reviews.

On August 14th 2023, received very poor customer service at the pharmacy drive- thru. After leaving the hospital in severe pain, I needed pain meds immediately and was told that if I could wait until the morning due to it being 10 minutes to closing the Pharmacy. It seemed that she could have filled the order but was more intent on watching the clock ?️ to leave instead our needs. Ok I see why it’s poor ratings now and will be changing my pharmacy location with medical as a result.

Sunday afternoon I head to the pharmacy to pick up my meds for the week. It took the pharmacist a few minutes to get to the drive thru window although there was no one inside. In comes Ian. I give him my name ( spelling the last name) and my birthday. He has one prescription ready. He asked was I expecting more I said yes everything but the _____. He said well what do you need. I was like I don’t know the name of them. Everything but the _____. I get frustrated because for sure he was being EXTRA RUDE. I told him I’d just wait. So, I go into the store, head to the pharmacy to let Ian know he didn’t have to be so rude. I’m just trying to pick up meds I don’t even want to take. Why was he so rude? I get it, nobody wants to work on a Sunday. I really wanted to show him grace today but he was beyond RUDE. I can’t stress enough how RUDE he was to a paying customer. I’m going to help Ian out and take my meds to a different pharmacy. I know this review will probably be over looked. But how I was treaded today at 12:36 by Ian at the 5006 Walgreens Pharmacy on Old Hickory was UNACCEPTABLE. #DontTrustIan #HesRudeToThePublic #WhoRaisedYou

I can’t ever pick up my medications. They changed their hours to 9-5 on week days and apparently the pharmacy is closed on weekends as well. I went Sunday and Saturday and both times the pharmacy was closed. The reason I went with Walgreens was convenience, but now that they’ve made it to where I could never pick up my medication’s having to move them somewhere else. Very disappointed!

I was in here a couple nights ago when a curly haired kid was watching me while I was looking at nail polish. He would come around the corner and immediately walk away and peak over the shelf at the end of the aisle. I went to the bathroom and came back out and he immediately went knocking on the bathroom door. I bought my nail polish and left because I needed it that night for a client or else I would have just left. Was he going to come in the women’s restaurant to confront me when I didn’t have anything on me? Just my phone and card? It was uncomfortable as hell.
