I’m very grateful for Mike’s kindness, trustworthiness, and skills. I was able to have my problem fixed whereas everywhere I called and took it to said they could not fix it. Bring your car here first and save yourself time, headache, and money. And meet a new friend while you’re at it!

I saw a lot of good reviews, but I’m not impressed after just getting off the phone with the shop. I went to their website, which states they prefer text communication. There also is a picture of a van with their name on it and it clearly states mobile diagnostics with their phone number under that, included in their Google Business profile. I texted 3 days ago with a long detailed list of everything I have tried and the result. I am a former Navy Avionics Technician. I have it narrowed down to what I think it is, but there are some reprogramming steps of the ECM (the computer module of the vehicle) that a dealer or an expert tech that has the equipment needs to perform after some repairs and I could not find any of that information online, so I was going to pay for their mobile diagnostics and take it from there. After texting back and forth, an appointment was set for this morning. In all of my details, I clearly stated that I can not get the vehicle to start. I called just a few minutes ago to confirm they were coming out this morning and the guy that answered said he was waiting on me. I said, I am confused, I told you it didn’t run, and the service I wanted and stated in text was for mobile diagnostics. I was told that I would have to come in and sign something first. That’s the only vehicle I own, so how can I come in? Yes, I know, Uber etc, but signing a contract before they even look at it? No way! That is insane, think about it. This place is not on the up and up as I thought by reading comments.

I’ve been to Welltek twice for two different vehicles. Mike is good at communicating what issues they are finding and what the solution or options are. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for any future problems.

They are experts for electronics. When car dealerships can not resolve a problem, Wellteck Auto Electrical handles it very well.

Highly recommend WellTech Auto off Elm Hill Pike in Donelson! They got my radiator fan for my Nissan Sentra working again with some real MacGyver-level diagnostics and repair—quick, clever, and effective. Super friendly staff, extremely knowledgeable, and the price was way better than expected. Great experience all around!
Thank you Mike for your awesome service!

Was referred to Welltek by another shop because they could not figure out what was wrong with my truck. Sure enough Mike and his team got it figured out and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I felt like I was in good hands the entire time and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend

After living in Nashville for six years and cycling through one too many disappointing experiences with mechanic shops, I can confidently say I’ve finally found a place I trust—WellTek Automotive in Nashville.
Honesty and integrity can be hard to come by in this industry. Over the years, I’ve had several shops try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. One example that stands out: I once brought my 2007 Toyota Tacoma in for a 200,000-mile service. Before dropping it off, I scanned it myself using an error code reader—everything came back clean. An hour after leaving it at the shop, I got a call from a technician listing off fifteen supposed issues. I declined the extra work and asked them to stick to the original service. Later, I told my dad—who’s a mechanic—about the whole thing. When he visited a few months later, he took a look under the hood and confirmed exactly what I suspected: that shop was full of it.
That’s why I was so cautious bringing my truck to WellTek earlier this week. I’d been hearing a whining sound, and after talking it over with my dad, he suspected the A/C compressor or alternator. I didn’t share that diagnosis with Taylor, the mechanic at WellTek, because I wanted to see if he’d give me an honest and accurate assessment. Sure enough, later that day Taylor called and confirmed—without prompting—that the issue was the A/C compressor. No upselling. No inflated list of phantom problems. Just straightforward, honest service.
When I picked up the truck, it ran like new. The A/C blows ice cold, the whining noise is gone, and the experience was as smooth as I could’ve hoped for.
I also had the chance to chat with Mike and Brad before heading out. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they’re down-to-earth and genuinely good guys. You can tell a lot about a shop by the way they talk to customers, and these guys passed the vibe check with flying colors.
Bottom line: if you're looking for a mechanic in Nashville who’s honest, skilled, and actually listens—go see the team at WellTek. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Well what I can Say They are Good . I am a ASE Tech , I will admit I do Not Know Everything about Vehicles , I Stay in My Lane , But I love To Learn , So I Have a 2019 Yukon was having a real bad issue with a real bad shaking/vibration at around 40/50 like a transmission issue , I took out my trusty scanner and plugged it up , No codes , in the engine computer , but had codes for the body control module, I am not a parts Changer , so I needed a 2nd Opinion , 30 codes in the BCM and I could not clear them at all , something was wrong with the network / or wiring So I talked to The. Owner and took the truck in . He looked and it and we had a good lesson on the different symptoms and codes that were in the BCM . We said can this code effect Drivability , went through a check list and Narrowed it down to 2/3 possibilities I had a severe issue, my key , and the steering lock system and braking system , so we just talked and went over the wiring and he said it would be expensive to fix , and diagnose .i was ok with the price , but He said you go over the wiring 1st because it will help you in electrical Repair, I love to learn , so it doesn’t bother me , he gave me directions and where to look at , so about a hour later I text him and I found the problem it was in the harness . A bad battery sensor connector , it took a while to find it but when I fixed it . I finally could clear the check engine light and no more bcm codes and it runs like new. He (Wellteck) could have charged me a arm and a leg to fix , but being a great person and seeing that I had knowledge in Automotive repair , he wanted to teach me and make me better at my craft , he was not Gatekeeping The information to fix or diagnose the problem, I am Forever Grateful for the lesson, and I will and can now pass the knowledge that I have learned on to someone else. Very Good company and will Use Them again

Mike is the best! Really professional and honest! He has a wealth of knowledge and shares it freely. Can't recommend him enough!
Update: Just took my wife's 2004 Mustang to Mike with stellar results. Cannot thank him enough.
708 Poplar Ave, Nashville, TN 37210 is current location. Mike moved about a year ago but still gives the same great honest service as always! I have taken several vehicles to him over the years and sent my father to Mike as well. Everytime I recieve honest, courteous service at very affordable prices. If you have a problem with the computer or electrical system on your car, Welltek is the place to go. Mike will give you an honest evaluation and advise you accordingly. His service is a rarity and I hope he stays in business for a long time. I would recommend him over any other electrical shop.
