This place sucks. Employees move so slow, leisurely walking with their phone in hand to price check an item with me. Every time I go, I have a negative experience. Employees act immature, act like they have chip on their shoulder. I returned a seasoning that I didn't need with seal in place and had one employee suggest that it was empty, another say she thought the same thing, toss the seasoning across the check stand. I always get an eye roll from the younger employees, their work ethic sucks. I now drive the extra distance to another Kroger with better people and service

SHARON NEEDS TO SLOW HER TAIL DOWN!!!!! I shouldn't feel rushed when I come through her line; she forgot my drinks; because she was moving entirely too fast; then gets smart with the young lady bagging (she had syndrome) I told Sharon she did say something about the drinks; n so did I; I said it was for my second order..... so long story short I had to leave without the drinks; that was for a customer ; just do better Sharon; work on your customer skills, because that ain't it; I'll go through self checkout if I see her again....... RUDENESS

This stores prices are consistently wrong and they over charge. They no longer give the item for free when you are charged incorrectly. The save five dollars off of five items rarely rings correctly even when you are 100% sure you are buying participating items. The digital coupons are hit and miss. It's a gamble getting charged the right price and an even bigger gamble to get a sale price. I've been shopping at this Kroger as long as it has been opened and even shopped at the old Kroger where the Dollar General now is. It's just gone downhill. There was a time I did all of my shopping at Kroger but now it has become a necessary evil because of location sometimes. Long ago I could definitely recommend them but now I do not.

I have frequented this location as it is 5 minutes away. The quality has been going downhill over time. I recently ordered a delivery and was given a couple of items that had been expired for almost 2 weeks. Yesterday I purchased some baked chicken from the Deli department. The plastic cover was covered with condensation so I could not actually see the chicken. When I got home I discovered the chicken was burnt, hard and inedible. I purchased the chicken about Noon, so it hadn't been sitting out for hours. Upon returning it for a refund I asked to speak with a manager but it took too long for him to come and I left. I have heard a Publix is opening nearby and I will be taking my business there from here on out.

If you care anything about wearing a mask and COVID-19 don't bother shopping here. They don't enforce mask wearing. I seen families without one mask. Not kidding.

Overall, this location is convenient and carries many items I need. Usually I go thru the self checkout and never wait in line. Today I had a cart full and waited in line for a cashier. To my horror, the customer in front of me had about 20 coupons, which was a slow and mechanical process. Everyone in line was delayed and pissed. In this day and age, why are coupons still a thing and why isn't there a better process?

Worst Kroger I've ever been to. You have to check the expiration date on EVERYTHING because there is a 99% chance that's it's either already expired, or will expire within days. They are always out of stock on basic items (ex: broccoli, lemon juice, bread??) good luck trying to buy alcohol at the self checkout, the staff will leave you waiting forever until they feel like coming over to check your ID. Save yourself the trouble and drive an extra .5 miles to a different store. I don't ever leave reviews but I've wasted money buying expired and rotten food for the last time. DO NOT GO HERE

I'm leaving this 5 star review cause I've shopped here many times as it's the closest to my house and I haven't had a bad experience. I just read a bunch of these bad reviews and I guess that hasn't been my experience there. Maybe I'm just lucky but this Kroger has literally been just as fine as any other Kroger I've been to.

This is probably the worst grocery store in Nashville. They are always low on products, bad customer service and what is up with the security sensors on the buggies? It's like they really don't want you to take their carts out of the store.

What's going on at this store ??? Is everyone ok ? Staff seems miserable- you feel like you are bothering them and to be honest the store is kind of a mess and I never walk out without spending $100 at least so can SOMEONE help this store out ?? Send it some love or give your staff longer breaks or pay them more ?? I do not know the answer but for me the only solution is going somewhere else now bc I just can't deal with the unwelcoming vibes that place gives off to the costumers . If anyone from corporate can see this - FIX THIS STORE -

This Kroger indeed needs work. They had an overhaul a few months ago. Still, this is a messy stinky store. Many items are always out of stock. The employees with a few exceptions are rude. There seems like a big turn over rate. The good ones don't stay long. Several times I come here and they may have one or two check out lanes open. Now I know they installed extra self check out lanes but with the prices I have paid here I want a human to check me out and sack my groceries! That is the least Kroger can do! Oh how I miss the old Hg Hill at Murfreesboro Road and Thompson Lane!!!!!!! One star is generous!!!!!!

Just left this Kroger. I went to the self checkout with like $30 worth of items. Apparently, though, they don't have enough cash in the building to give back more than $40 so I had to leave my stuff since all I had on me was $100 bill and I wasn't about to spend more money just to get the cash back. Well the cashier didn't like that I wasn't going to finish the transaction so she decided to yell at me as I walked out the door. I mean, I'm in customer service as my profession so I get the long hours, little pay, terrible management, rude customers, etc but geeez! You definitely don't yell at customers when they aren't the ones causing most of the problems you're experiencing. I'm not going back to this Kroger for a myriad of reasons, but this just happens to be the most recent. The one on 8th Ave. is much better. They have a good staff and are usually pretty well stocked on most items.
