Whitfield Park is a sports park with a playground. It has a paved trail that leads to wooded trails and a creek. The park is great for kids, dogs, and people who play baseball and softball. The park is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. There is also a hiking trail and a wide trail for walking, running, and riding bicycles. Recently, an evening security gate was added to close the park at night. The park has a recycling drop-off area with room for unloading and parking. It is a decent little park for a city park, with something for everyone to enjoy.

No restrooms. There's a paved trail that leads to wooded trails and a creek. You can go up towards the agriculture area too for wooded trails. The Whitfield park itself is more of a sports park. There is a playground however. Decent little park for a city park.

Great park for kids, especially since the playground upgrade, dogs as there is a hiking trail nearby with a creek and of course for baseball and softball.
