Revising my review from 5 stars to 1 because of the rude and unhelpful service I received trying to cancel my membership after ~5 years. I moved from Hermitage and was told my membership was not valid at the Gallatin location. I called to cancel my membership as we joined the Gallatin Civic Center which is a much better value (pools, basketball, racquetball, plus all the gym stuff). "Celine" first tells me "you are only paying $10/month" as if that has anything to do with the situation. I replied well you also charge me $39 every year to renew and when is that? No answer. Then she says you have to cancel in person. Like I want to drive an hour round trip and burn 3 gallons of gas to cancel this. I'll be posting this to yelp and the BBB.

Great gym! Great employees! I was broke down behind the gym overheating and they were kind enough to get me water and even carried it to my car. Thank you

Showers/ Locker Room is DirtyAir duct in area don't work cold in winter, hot in summer.Get some fans for free weight area.Backdoor is always open, allowing whole gym to feel cool

Had no issues for 5 months until my trainer quit. After that it was no response while I attempted to find a replacement trainer, only to find they had no trainers that could accommodate my schedule/did not do strength training. At this point I was left with no option but to cancel. However, they continue to attempt to collect that last monthly payment every single month for $360 and change the merchant name causing the payment to place a hold on my account despite a stop payment. If that wasn’t enough they apparently lock you into a year contract for the monthly membership, save yourself the trouble find another gym. TruFit has no contract and way better facilities, found out about them from a coworker’s recommendation.

Brian Tillery was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and excellent customer service! I highly recommend this gym it is an amazing place to work out and a great friendly environment!

Very good machines, staff are friendly, and you can get a really good workout if you're there at the perfect time. Bad side is this gym is always really packed at the weirdest times, so I almost always have to either improvise or work out at home. Some personal trainers don't help this issue as well. I found one trainer making this lady do med ball ab workouts in the deadlift/squat rack while there is a specific spot in the gym to do those without taking up machines you're not using. I also found another personal trainer making this other lady do leg press on the assisted pullup/dip machine while the leg press machine was available. I'm not a science-based lifter by any means, I just know that a leg press machine is a leg press machine, and some people are trying to do pull ups. Besides that, this is a gym I would recommend to anybody looking to get a good workout in.

This is a clean, organized gym, with up to date equipment. Great staff! If you want to bodybuild, trim weight, tan, massage, get a personal trainer…. Workout Anytime Hermitage is where it’s at!

I’ve been a loyal member of this gym since it opened. Recently there was some issues with my membership, every staff member was communicating something different and some of the staff were Incredibly rude. I’ve found that the staff doesn’t care to respectfully communicate with their members. I’d think they would want to retain their members with the new gym opening up down the road. Highly disappointed.

So I was working out getting a kick out of the exercise class being lead by a guy and a woman in an aquamarine tank top, they must have mistook my laughing as an insult because the woman gave me the finger and then the woman at the front desk gave me a hard time trying to get contact info for manager/owner she got frustrated and said you can leave, and then said that's how the world woks and then she said fuck you. No Way is this ok. Sunday September 4th 2023 3:45 pm I want my money back.

99 dollar cancel fee they do a great job of hiding to you when you sign up for a membership. If you want to come here for a couple months DO NOT. Extremely expensive cancel fee, super packed during normal hours. Just go to another gym that doesn't have a extreme cancelation fee.
