The pharmacist went above and beyond when I forgot my meds at home when we were on vacation. Cannot say enough about him. He was a lifesaver and amazing. Thank you.

I would like to give this location a negative 5 points. Terrible service and you cannot speak with a live person.

I did like using CVS, but the new corporate system of having to leave a voice-mail is ridiculous. Their system can never find any of my information. Anyone should be able to call and speak with an employe when they are having issues. I'll be using a new pharmacy that cares about customers.

It's okay. The pharmacy is CLOSED for lunch, but the only way to know the time they CLOSE for lunch is while you are at the pharmacy! No recorded message anywhere that SAYS when they are closed!

PEOPLE SHOULD ALWAYS BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT, especially regarding their Healthcare. I'M 68 YRS OLD AND HAVE BEEN ON low-dose clonazapam since 1994. ⁰I've never asked that my clonazapan dose be increased. (Ever) ...
Since than, I've also been prescribed multiple heart meds d/t an enlarged heart and atrial fibulation. Yesterday, July 2nd 2024, I was told by the CVS pharmacy tech (Newport, Tn.) that my clonazapam refill had not been renewed by my Provider. I had no problem with that, but.... before I even had chance to say that I would call my provider the next day, about a refill, the tech berated me about being on a controled substance, and emphasized again, that my provider had not given me a refill.......And than,.proceded to slam the phone down in my ear! .....IVE NEVER been *treated" like this by any pharmacy before..... (I had used CVS in Fl. for 22 years, before we relocated to Tn. In 2022. In Florida, CVS had aways treated me with respect, no matter what med I was inquiring about).......
Also, as an ICU, RN for 35 years, (now retired), I always treated my patients and their families with dignity and respect. This review is not the 1'st time I've experienced a less than positive experiance with the CVS Pharmacy in Newport, Tennessee and it's staff. I even mentioned this to my provider on my last visit. I will not go to CVS in Newport,Tn again. Many people who are not "drug addicts" benefit from low dose anti-anxiety or antidepressant meds and should not be disrespected or humiliated or treated like commen "street addicts"..... I did call Newport CVS back yesterday after my interacton with the tech and voiced my complaints with the pharmacist (on duty) regarding the pharmacy techs. Hopefully, things will improve at this pharmacy in the future in the way they treat customers. The Pharmacist should be the leader (head) over their staff, so hopefully issues in this regard will improve in the future.

CVS Newport TN is the best pharmacy in our area. Kind, helpful, they get out taken care of quickly...and they are so nice! The way a business should be ran, customer service priority ?

This place is ridiculous! I can never get anyone to come up to the front of the building to ring me up & when I finally find someone the black haired lady gets a attitude with me like she doesn't want to do her job. Y'all need to find some people who actually want to work. Have them stand up front at the register to take care of the customers!

I ask the older man at the counter to help me look for a vitamin (cvs brand). I didn’t see any. I’m hoping he can help me. I also, ask him if he had anymore in the stockroom. He said NO, the man just walked away without looking for me.If these are the people u hire! well good luck. I will not be back. Bad experience, why don’t people help each other out when they need help??

This Pharmacist thinks he's smarter than doctors. Wanted clarification to fill my script because he wasn't satisfied with why the doctor wrote it. I thought a Pharmacist job was to fill prescriptions that real doctors write out for their patients. CVS just lost a 30 year customer because " DR Pharmacist MD " didn't want to give a cancer patient his Meds.

This is by far the worst CVS I have ever used. I’ve lived in 6 different states and always used CVS for our prescriptions but this is the worst one. Takes for ever to pickup a prescription at the drive thru or inside and hardly never anyone at the window or inside. I have drove off several times because of waiting so long with just one car in front of me. Probably going to switch to Walgreens. They can have 5 cars in front of you and be faster than this store with one car
