Pilot Travel Center in Niota, TN is a large, well-equipped stop with friendly service and clean restrooms and showers. It offers everything needed on the road, including fuel, EV charging, overnight parking, fresh food, snacks, drinks, and the best coffee on the interstate. The staff are helpful and the location is good, making it a convenient must-have for drivers. Many feel safe stopping here. However, the location has several consistent drawbacks. Parking is a significant issue; it gets very crowded, there are not enough lines or spaces, and nearly every slot is paid parking, which many find unreasonable. The Wi-Fi is poor and phone signal is hard to get. For RV drivers, it is not friendly, with no designated place to pull in and only one diesel pump on the auto side. There are also very few restaurants or trees nearby. A specific safety concern was noted regarding a trash vehicle operator driving dangerously, creating near misses. Despite these problems, the friendly staff and convenient amenities keep it a functional stop for many travelers.
I don’t understand why truck stops don’t enforce parking and let drivers get away with doing things like this. The exit *should* be directly in front of me, but they’ve got it blocked. There’s even a big X painted on the ground that says “do not block” and yet, here we are.

Traveling though several states. My vehicle need oil. My hood latch broke. John was working and he did not hesitate to come help. Also a maintence man also assisted, they got it with in minutes and I was on my way! This is customer service at its best! That is why I choose pilot over loves everytime! Thanks John
