My friends and I had a great time at this bowling alley. The staff was very accommodating, especially Giada and Dallas. We had a some questions and they answered all of them. We also had a few issues, but they were quick to address them - with efficiency and a little humor thrown it. They helped to make our experience a memorable one. Thank you Giada and Dallas!!

This place has no air conditioning. It must have been over 100° inside. Water was puddled up in the mens room and around the water fountain. An ambulance and paramedics were called in, my best guess was for heat exhaustion or stroke. I will steer clear of this place until the owner fixes everything. I'm surprised there was anyone bowling. It was absolutely miserable inside.

I really enjoyed my visit here. Slightly outdated but in a charming way. Great value on the bowling and the beer. An employee even came by with free popcorn that was perfectly buttered and salted.

Very old equipment and no refunds. We came in as a party of 5 to bowl instead of making the drive to Knoxville. Obviously the place is old, but hey, you aren't driving 45 minutes round trip. They gave us a lane with bumpers even though we asked for no bumpers. Then the lane we were moved to had to be reset, which we had to do instead of the employees. (The employees were great, no issues there.) We started a game but then the computer would skip people, and we would have to fix that issue. Someone would bowl (first out of two per round) and instead of getting to bowl the remaining pins, the computer would reset to 10 pins. Someone would bowl twice and the computer would not catch the issue. Golly, all of this in the first 2 rounds. Not an issue, we will just get our money back and make the drive to Knoxville so we can enjoy our evening. The sign on the counter said no cash refunds but we made sure to pay with a card so that we could get our money back if we needed to. However, after we asked for a refund and explained the issues, we were informed that the "no cash refund" sign actually meant "no money refund." I will never be back so getting a free game instead of a refund does not help my situation (literally-- I haven't been here in the 17 years I've lived in Oak Ridge and definitely won't now). The employees offered to give us another lane instead but at this point we were tired of the issues, running out of time to hang out together, and just had a bad taste in our mouth. Thankfully we only paid for one game, but we definitely left feeling lied to. If we had gotten a refund, we would come back and try another lane, but it feels like the establishment is just trying to keep doors open and doesn't care about their customers.

Went in with my son cause he needed tape, instead of selling us something that we didn’t need, they helped my son out with another solution. Very helpful!

Ended up meeting a group of friends for a cheap activity to do. I was hungry too and they reassured me that food can be made on-site. So I took a chance and tried their pizza, wings, and curly fries. It was ok and filled me up, but the prices were a tad high for what you get. I guess that's for the convenience of eating while you bowl. The service was awesome though! From the moment I walked in, the guy at the counter was friendly and fast. He handed me clean bowling shoes and told me what lane our group was at. It was a nice and clean establishment. They also have pool tables and a few arcade games here!

This bowling alley gets the job done. Nothing fancy and nothing cringe-worthy. It is an incredibly outdated space, but it's no-frills motif is likely what keeps the prices so low and family-friendly. Speaking of family friendly, they have an awesome "kids bowl free" promotion through the summer. We signed up easily online and redeemed once we arrived. Instead of timed games like other bowling joints, this was just allows 2 full games. This is helpful when you have ramps, snacks, and sassy kids to corral and guide. They must have known that my bowling skills are an embarrassment to all and sent us to Siberia (AKA very last lane). They had special balls for kids as well as lanes with bumpers pre-inserted and the metal ramps for kids (or bowling inept) to roll the ball down. The ramps were nice, but both that we tried were bent and angled the ball awkwardly to the side, no matter how much we adjusted it. We also had several occasions that the lane reset would freeze and we had to get a worker to go behind the pins and fix it. **As a heads up, the smallest shoe size they have is a toddler 10, so have your littles with smaller feet wear protective shoes. The worker at the snack bar was much nicer than the worker at the front desk and was helpful with my questions. However, the most I would order from here next time is a pitcher of beer or a fountain drink, as the food I saw and the curly fries we ordered were "meh." Overall, we will be back on occasion, but are not racing back any time soon. If you're looking for family fun on a budget, this place has got you covered!

I have been reviewing each Alley in the Knoxville region as I attend them to give my honest opinion. I have been looking for a place to call my Home Alley so i hope my reviews help someone. This is the best Alley I've been to in the surrounding Knoxville area so far. It is a large complex in a decent area. The alley feels active but not busy which is ideal. The place has some dated features such as the scoring systems, the carpet, and lane machines but i can tell the owners really care about upkeep. I had no issues with the pin spotters or ball return machines which seems to plague the other alleys in the region. The lanes themselves felt excellent and well kept. I had limited interaction with the staff but they seemed to be friendly. I didn't try the food but the kitchen area looks very clean and seems top notch. The bathrooms were not perfect but they were clean and Ive seen much worse. There is also a lot of other non bowling entertainment like pool tables, air hockey, and arcade games which all looked in good condition. This place is great for kids, those looking for a good time, or avid bowers alike. I would give this place 5 stars if it had a modern update! Either way this is where I will be doing the majority of my bowling going forward.

Worst bowling place I've been to in the Knoxville area. Clean but always open lanes, which I learned very quickly was for a reason. They have VERY few beer options, which was something I could've move past but overall was a terrible experience. I'm not a serious bowler by any means but my friends and I are competitive. With that being said some of us would bowl a gutter ball twice and would get 2 or 3 points, it happened every time. A few times we would hit pins and the count would still be off. They told us it was because of the lights (we went during cosmic bowing), honestly though come on, are you guys the first to have cosmic? The lanes were dry and the workers were assholes (acting like it was an issue we were there). They also haven't updated their cosmic playlist since the 80's (maybe). All around a waste of time and money. Wherever I am I leave a review (at least rate them). Don't think I'm some asshole who leaves only bad reviews. I seriously just want to warn people how terrible this place is.

I've been bowling here for about three and a half years now, so I may be a bit biased, but I digress. Even though this isn't the closest bowling alley to me, there is one five minutes from my house, where this is thirty, it completely justifies the extra time. The approaches are always clean, only giving an issue with sticking, if the people on the lane earlier somehow caused it. Craig, the proshop guy, helps me out a lot, drilling, coaching, etc. Floyd has been putting a lot of effort into coaching me, and the rest of the staff are, at this point, good friends. This is also the only place anywhere close that has wood lanes, so if you want what bowling used to be, mixed with the bowlers of today, I highly recommend Oak Ridge Bowling Center.

Very good lanes the house balls are of great quality. They have great service and a very good pro shop that can drill and maintenance personal balls. Prices on food and games are great and drinks are refillable, overall great.

We bowl here on sundays really nice people. The guy always puts us with other people who are there to practice, sometimes if you get paired with other you can't practice as good. The food is really good. The pro shop guy is very good at what he does.

I have now rolled here twice. My impressions: overall the facility is clean. I didn't see too many people there to bowl, so it is really easy to get a lane. The prices are good. Excellent value in my book. I haven't tried the cafe, nor have I tried the pro shop, so I can't comment on that. I can comment on the lanes. They are the driest I have ever bowled on, period. There doesn't seem to be any oil on the lanes at all. The approaches are clean and well-maintained. No problems with sticking at all. But wow, can we at least have some oil on the lanes? I couldn't even get a bit of oil on my towel. This a be why the place is so deserted. It's not like I didn't do well, shot a 192, 278, 232, but I was a full dot and a half shifted to find a strike. I can't see how they could be ABC sanctioned. BTW, I've rolled in a lot of houses and last time I bowled league, I carried a 200+ average.

Been a while since I have been inside a bowling alley, like most others this place has the weird stench of rented shoes in the air. It costs something like $7 for two hours. It wasn't crowded at all and everyone that worked there was very nice. It didn't blow me away, but it's a bowling alley.
