I got a great price for insurance, but I'm highly disappointed in their customer service team. For whatever reason my two vehicles were split up to have separate payments and the customer service agent failed to add in the second vehicle and insisted x amount was all I owed. Come to find out, the policy on the second vehicle was canceled.There was no room to extend to my next payday, since by the time I found out I owed more, I did not have the funds. For the mistake customer service made, you'd think the policy could've been extended, given those circumstances.After speaking with Nathan, I feel like this was just brushed off as "yeah, don't call the 800 number, just call us here" and to me I don't think that is a good business practice. Yes, I got a great rate, but I'm also now with an insurance company that doesn't trust their own customer service team. I wonder what will happen when I need to file a claim?I'd stay away, unless you simply don't have another option, as this experience has been iffy at best.

I've been insured with Nathan Mizer Shelter Insurance for many years and I'm quite pleased. We have home, auto and life policies. Nathan provides excellent service, he is knowledgeable about the many products and services Shelter offers and he cares about his customers. He is also very supportive of the community. His office manager Violeta is always helpful, kind and knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend Nathan!
