Probably the best experience I've ever had with any financial institution. They answer and return calls promptly. They are fast on their feet with answering questions and getting back with you on loans. I've dealt with another bank for 20+ years, but I'm about to change everything over to Y12.

Absolutely the best financial institution around! I previously had my banking with someone else for over 25 years and thought I'd give Y-12 a try and my only regret is not switching sooner! Hassle-free, always friendly and willing to help! Highly Recommend!

Everyone at y12 credit union treat all their customers like family and they have great rates and they are well educated in what they offer you. If you are looking for a loan or car loan give them a chance. You won't be sorry. They are some great people.

Super friendly staff, great financial incentives and overall just a great place to bank with. I used to have TVA and they have gone down hill. Glad I moved over to y12. Definitely do not regret switching banks.

I have had one of the best experiences with communicating with folks here at Y12. They are very friendly and very helpful especially when I need help with the mobile app. They have done a wonderful job in helping me understand something.

I have banked at y-12 for the past 40 years and they have always been kind and courteous. Everytime an issue comes up they are quick to resolve the issue I love the fact of having security on my account also they call you right away. I am very disgusted on how this credit Union has handled the situation with my account. Back in may 2023 I got scammed and I went into the branch right away to let them know they closed my account and reissued an entire new account with new number and then they stated if it happened again I couldn’t bank with them. Then in July 2023 I had a direct deposit for 4000 something I called right away to make sure it was mine and they weren’t hundred percent sure after they checked they stated it was social security that mistaken the account numbers by 2 digits and they reversed it and I asked them how can this happen if I hadn’t called you wouldn’t be informed. Then the rep stated we check weekly/daily for anything that looks unordinary and catch it. So that made me feel reassured that it wouldn’t happen again. Fast forward to august I have another deposit and I assumed it was my child support so I used the money. Because how can the same mistake happen twice . The rep previously said they made it aware for it not to happen again. Then on September of 2023 a month after the deposit of suavest 2023 a rep calls me telling me that the deposit was a mistake again social security put the wrong account number again. the rep stated they would put a stop on direct deposits I said okay. Little did I know Y12 closed my checking account without notifying me. So I went in the branch and the manager stated I couldn’t open a checking account with them again. Because of someone else’s mistakes I am the one that got stuck with the consequences. And I was a member for 7 years apparently that didn’t matter if I had a good standing account never over-drafted and my car loan with them always paid on time. I just want to let people aware of what this credit union does to there members they don’t help and don’t care.

Some people say you can tell a lot about an organization based on their new employee onboarding processes, if they don't care enough about the people to get that very first initial interaction right, it's a good reflection on how import (or unimportant) people are to the organization. I think the same is true for new customers/clients at any organization. Clearly Y12 Credit Union take the same approach for new member application and processing. It's an extremely efficient process, managed by very attentive staff. I'm assuming based on my initial interactions with the staff at Y12 CU that it is very well run with a commitment to member satisfaction and service. well done.

Very friendly, helpful and working with the banking needs of the whole family. Very competitive interest rates on checking, savings and CD's. Makes me wish I had more money to put there :)

I highly recommend Y-12s Commercial Loan department. Working with Cory was as good as an experience as I have had working with a bank. I have worked with many big box, local, and credit unions in East Tennessee and by far, Cory with Y12 has been transparent about the process, able to meet aggressive timelines, while maintaining a high level of professional acumen.Thank you!
