I love Penance! I joined the gym a little over a year ago after gaining weight from starting a new less active job. My main goal was to lose weight. Little did I know what I was getting into. I met an awesome group of people including coaches Clint and Theresa. This is not your typical gym. They care about their members and want everyone to succeed. We have fun but also get the work done!

Love the facility and people who work there. I am north of 70 years old. I need to stay limber and maintain muscle mass. It uses non competitive 1 hour classes. Instead of lots of machines, we use kettle bells, sleds, ropes, bands, bikes and hand weights. In that hour I get lots of exercise and aerobic activity. You only compete with yourself. Would highly recommend this gym to anyone who cares about there health. The people who lead the classes are very knowledgable and motivating. My classmates are also very friendly. I have been here over 1 year and definitely feel better about my health.

I have been at Penance Gym for several years. Before being here I was a member at several other places along the way. None of them can compare to Penance. It is so great walking into the gym knowing that the workout is well thought out and written for you, that a very educated coach is there to encourage you along the way… and to make sure you are doing the movements correctly, and you get to workout with some incredible people! This place and these people are the best of the best!!!!! Thanks for being so awesome!

Clint and Theresa are wonderful. I came to Penance after losing a significant amount of weight by changing my diet but not yet including exercise other than walking. They helped me shed another 20+ pounds but I’ve gained so much strength. I had prior knee injuries they have helped me navigate and strengthen. Cannot thank them enough. I look forward to class everyday ?

Penance Gym is one of my favorite places! I started working with the gym a year ago and they have helped me reach my goals of healing and strengthening my lower back. An added bonus is overall strength and the BEST gym family.Coach Clint and Coach Theresa are very knowledgeable and do a wonderful job of explaining how and why we are doing every exercise.I love the group classes and I have met so many wonderful people! Personal training gives you a chance to connect with the coaches and lets them learn your strengths and weaknesses. That is so helpful!I am so glad I joined and only wish I had joined sooner!

Penance is not just a gym! They are more like family to me at this point. Everyone here is so encouraging and nonjudgmental. They helped me physically and mentally through one of the toughest years of my life. I walked in to this place in the worst physical shape of my life with knee and back pain. After a year, I can say that the pain has resolved completely thanks to the coaches paying such close attention to my needs. I can’t thank them enough for the confidence and strength I have gained since joining Penance. I am so glad I found such a wonderful group of friends that make me look forward to working out and taking care of myself!

You can tell that Clint and his team put so much thought into the progression and "why" of every workout. After working out for several years, struggling with the same movements, I was able to come to penance and see real,measurable progress in my strength within weeks. ? I love working smarter, not harder, and that's 100% the approach here.

Penance Gym is unlike any gym I've ever been a part of. The classes are designed so that a person of any fitness level is able to do the workouts with everyone else. The coaches and other gym members are always encouraging, welcoming, and supportive. The coaches are also always learning and evolving their techniques to better help members. My overall health has greatly improved since joining the gym. I am beyond thankful for my Penance membership!

My son worked with Clint last summer in the sports performance program during his off season. He thoroughly enjoyed the program and we could see a definite change in his strength and overall athletic ability when football season started. Clint truly cares about my sons success and even came to his 8th grade championship football game! Highly recommend for athletic training during your child’s off season!

I love this place! Coaches go above and beyond to make sure you are getting what you need out of your workouts. The personal attention received makes you know you are not just a number to them. Other members are so welcoming and will push you and encourage you when you need it! I love the workouts and know that every time I walk in, I will walk out feeling amazing. I realized quickly that my workout days end up being my best days with having more energy during the day and better sleep at night. Penance Gym is truly a hidden gem!❤️
