About every other time I go in here is no one at the register and you end up waiting or I also see people just walking out with their stuff.

I am 72 yrs old and have some needs with lifting heavy items. TODAY I spent 128 dollars and loaded my car and cam to aone of the 4 women standing behind the counter for help to buy one of the Rondeck chairs out front of the store. The oldest lady told me that I would have bring the chair in for her to scan. I went out and pulled the paper sticker off and brought it to her. She said that that wouldn't work. I asked could one of you please help me that women said that she couldn't leave the cash register. A younger women standing next to said I can't I'm on break
The other two smiled but no one would help me. So I left the store. I wish that Dollor Store could hire people who need a job and are willing to help seniors.

This has been my neighborhood dollar store
for the last 6 years. I went in there today to buy hair products and noticed all the black hair care products have been removed from the shelves. The store clerk claims they discontinued them because they never sell but I know that’s not true because I bought the products often and they would sell out . I guess DG has discontinued “DEI” like Target and other stores. I’m very disappointed and will not be shopping here anymore.

I came to this Store hoping to have a satisfactory solution to my problem...I had a pair of pants that I had bought that were the wrong size. I didn't realize the wrong size until I got them home. Days went by so I lost the receipt.According to GOOGLE :To get your money back, you'll need to have your original receipt. If you don't have your receipt, all is not lost, however. You can still make a return, but they'll only let you exchange it for something of equal value or get a gift card for store credit.May 5, 2023The lady at the register left the customers in line to wait while she walked outside to ask the manager what to do....She returned inside moments later & told me I could exchange for exact item only a different size.I could not find the exact item at a different size so I picked something else. She said that they could not exchange for anything different....Then asked me if I was satisfied...DUH..... NO!!!I called & spoke to manager & was told that she would call the district manager but would not give me that #.....She advised me to call back later....No need....I went to The Dollar General in Ooltewah.I explained to Leroy- that store manager that all I needed to do was exchange the pants. He was very apologetic for the other 2 stores not helping me. He then allowed me to exchange my $10.00 pants for $10.00 credit since what I wanted was not available...... Used credit immediately & Thanked him sincerely.Obviously my time & gas between these 3 stores cannot be replaced but I do appreciate Leroy for not making me drive to a 4th Store.

Went in today for a drink. I grabbed one, that the lid was messed up on it. I went back in, and Justin fixed my problem asap. The store was the neatest DG, I had ever been in. Management here should be commended. Very impressed.

First off this is one of the only stores that I know of that closes as early as it does. Second off came in with about no 15 minutes to spare before they closed and was immediately met with both employees telling us how long we hadn't before they closed and was very rude about it!. Then throughout the rest of the time spent in the store they were constantly badgering us about the time, very rudely again I might add!! And of course they didn't have what I needed, why would they, their shelves are always baren!! So with just a couple minutes left before closing I was met with a loud you r gonna be shopping in the dark!!!....I mean come on Dollar General!!! I know that you are cheap and all but you don't have to be so rude!!

Must be hard to find good help. No one at the register. They have a toy pig you squeeze to call for help but the sign that tell you that it's facing the register... ? and then there's the attitude.

I used to hate DG but now I really like them. They used to be just a big mess but now they are so much better. My problem with this one is that first of all the employees aren’t up to date on how to use their own products in the app (mine has never worked there) and make sure you don’t go there near closing time cause you will be told every 2 minutes how many minutes that you have left and they promptly turn off the lights and stand at the door even if your still checking out. Not good customer service. These pics are after I’m done add out. Lights out door locked. I understand we all want to go home when our shift is over but sometimes it’s too much.
