I recently had the unfortunate experience of renting a storage unit at Hunter Road Storage facility, and I am deeply disappointed with the level of service and lack of professionalism I encountered. The unit I rented had standing water, rendering a significant portion of the space unusable. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue with the management, my concerns were ignored, and I was met with complete indifference.Upon discovering the standing water, I immediately contacted the facility's management through email to request reimbursement for the expenses incurred in moving out of the unit. To my dismay, my email was blatantly ignored, leaving me feeling unheard and disrespected as a customer.What added insult to injury was the fact that Hunter Road Storage Unit did not prorate the monthly amount for the portion of the unit that was rendered unusable due to the standing water. It is a clear breach of fair business practices to charge customers for space that cannot be utilized as intended.The lack of responsiveness from Hunter Road Storage Unit's management is utterly unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect timely and respectful communication, especially when it concerns such a critical matter. The complete disregard for my concerns and refusal to address the issue demonstrate a severe lack of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction.Furthermore, the presence of standing water in the storage unit raises serious concerns about the facility's maintenance and care for the units. It is unacceptable for a storage facility to neglect the conditions of its units, creating an environment that can potentially damage customers' belongings.I urge potential customers to think twice before considering Hunter Road Storage as a reliable storage solution. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! Drove ALL THE WAY FROM KNOXVILLE to pick up boxes that I PRE-ORDERED online. I got to the location at 1:15pm. Online the hours of operation say 9-5pm online and in U-Haul. I get to the location and the door says “open from 9am-1pm?! What business gives its customers only 4 hours in a day to have access to services????!! And I wonder if I will be compensated for my gas and travels to come to a location that says it’s open online but ends up being closed in real life! Absolutely disappointed and it makes me want to leave the south! Go Yankees!!

Had some issues with auto pay and late fees, but they got it fixed and reversed the late fees. The u-haul messaging they use to communicate doesn’t go through, but that’s not on them. Hopefully we got the auto pay fixed. It’s been annoying but they’re trying to make it right, which I appreciate.

LOVE being able to reserve a u-haul truck and trailer (hooked up and ready!--awesome staff!!) and rent a storage unit (climate controlled) via the website. They also have packing supplies and paddlocks available.
