My husband and I have banked at Regions for many years, and they have always been professional, courteous and helpful whether inside the Ooltewah branch we go to or just driving through.

We had a card stolen and the process to get it reported had me spend an entire work day in their office. Afterwards they froze our accounts without warning. They had no mechanism for unfreezing it so we had no access to our money. Meaning none of us were able to get our paychecks for weeks. The freeze also alerted the banks of me and my coworkers subsequentially force freezing our personal accounts for fraud. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck and we had to pull together to pool resources just to get by. But that wasn't the end of it. The claim has been denied multiple times over admitted banking errors. There is zero oversite. It is appallingly disorganized. I'm having a very hard time believing this level of incompetency isn't intentional theft. They are in breach of their policies and the law at this point. The outcome of this has been financially devastating for my community.

Opened a joint checking account a few weeks back and have had nothing but issues ever since. First we could deposit money then couldn’t move money out because the account was frozen. We can move money in but not out? Went to the branch and no body could tell us why it was frozen. Had to resign same paperwork we already signed even though they had the copies and could see our signatures. Go to try to move money again to pay some bills and of coarse account is frozen again two days later. Go back up to the branch again this morning and of coarse nobody knows why it’s frozen again. The people we need to speak with are not there and they wanted us to come back again another day. This would be the fourth time in the last few weeks having to go to the branch for this issue. Every time we go they can’t figure out why this continues to happen or the people we need to speak with aren’t at work. Had to have them give us a cashiers check to pay some bills because we cant even transfer the money to another regions account. They tried to charge us a $10 fee to write the check even though it’s there system that is malfunctioning. Can you believe this? We refused to pay the fee and they finally agreed the issue was theirs. Issue is still not resolved and we have to go back again when the right people are actually on site. Will give them one more chance to fix the problem and if they can’t we will close all our accounts there and go elsewhere.

After many years, and many disappointments, with the same bank I recently made a decision to move to Regions. At first the process was overwhelming, but Matthew Nibarger at this Ooltewah branch worked tirelessly for hours to make the necessary changes in my direct deposits / withdrawals.He was competent, efficient, and thorough - and throughout the long process he made me feel like a person, not just a customer.

After my favorite Regions drive-thru teller, Debbie, retired, I felt she had left a big void! I am so pleased u now have the winning team in providing excellence to your Regions customers. I have been banking with Regions for many many years. In 2018, I applied for a Mortage loan in downtown Chattanooga. I was a little upset on how my Mortage processes was done that I went with another company. Fast forward to 2021, I walked into Regions on Little Debbie Parkway not knowing the blessing I was about to receive meeting Matthew Nibarger. I went in to ask about to consolidating my bills, financial planning, and ask what would he suggest. I tell you what! He broke it down for me. He took his time to show me the numbers, my savings, and the advantages of refinancing my home. I was sold!! Matthew invested his time to get to know my situation. (Very patient with me when trying to find my financial paperwork) I was not just a customer, he made me feel like I was family. He is very professional and honestly cares about the customers on how he can help them. He always communicated with me during the whole processes. Matthew is a valuable employee. Regions has one great asset! I highly recommend everyone to see Matthew Nibarger for your financial needs.

First they don’t return calls like they say they will.The banker I worked with was extremely rude and didn’t listen well.Don’t waste your time. Go to another branch.

We stopped in today so my mother could cash a check for Christmas.. The teller shorted us $100.00 on counting, we drove around the building to get back in line to tell the teller about the error.. We were told that they're count was right and pretty much accused us on telling a lie.. That's the second time that has happened at this bank.. The 1st time the error was corrected.. This time was different.. Frustrated can not start to express how we felt on how we were treated.. Pittyful customer service..

I've been to two Regions locations for Western Union. No one knows how to do it. One of them tried and was nice about it but didn't get anywhere. One of their Certificates had expired. The Ooltewah branch didn't want to deal with it. If you can't do it don't advertise you can.

This bank is always super slow and seems under staffed. It pains me to waste my life away standing in line and now they close early on fridays. Really? The busiest banking day of the week? Don't do business here unless absolutely necessary!!
