This place is among several others. Would have loved a bit more privacy. We’ve stayed in places that were very secluded with privacy.

Me and the family loves the Castle on The Hills. Very spacious and clean. Very high altitude up the mountains. Great views of downtown Gatlinburg. Great price for the luxury.Rooms: Master bedroom has hot tube. Every room is huge.Nearby activities: Downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.Safety: Bear packs and other wildlife share this area, so use caution when outside. The house is very safe, with key coded with dead bolt locks.Walkability: Walking trail nearby. Beware of wildlife.Noteworthy details: Very high altitude. Top of mountain. Roads to house is actually on the edge of mountain. Experience drivers should only attempt this drive up mountain.

It was an all around great stay, the view was absolutely beautiful and the cabin was nice and clean. the only thing we experienced was the sink in the kitchen didn’t have much hot water. So that was a little disappointing with staying there for 3 days.

We just returned from a trip to Pigeon Forge, and we stayed at the Splash to Remember cabin. We had 5 mothers and 5 teenage daughters. This cabin was absolutely amazing and perfect! From the first phone call to Hearthside to the final checkout-everything was great. We have stayed at several rental properties in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area and this by far was the best.Driving up to the cabin, it is required to go up some very steep roads so be aware, but the neighborhood the cabin is in is very nice and safe.We were there to visit Dollywood and the cabin was only about 4 miles from Dollywood! The location was perfect-very close to the parkway, but you were not in the middle of the noise and traffic.Once entering the Splash to Remember, it is exactly like the photos. (I have stayed in cabins before that did not match the photos). The cabin was extremely clean and had everything you could possibly need while staying there. The basement was where the indoor pool, game room and bunk room were located so it was perfect for the girls to hang out and have their own space. Even though it rained on our trip, the girls were happy to just stay in the cabin because there was so much to do!The beds were comfortable along with all the furniture. Plenty of extra blankets and bedding were provided. The location, the cabin itself, and booking process all deserve more than 5 stars. It was worth every penny we paid and definitely plan to use Hearthside from now on when we stay in the area.Rooms: There were 6 rooms in The Splash to Remember Cabin. Five of them were king size suites. Each had a coffee bar and mini fridge in the room with an attached bathroom and futon. The 6th bedroom was a bunk room with 4 sets of bunk beds. All the beds were comfortable, and the furniture was really nice.Nearby activities: The location was absolutely perfect. We were only a few miles from the parkway. The Island was about 5 miles in one direction and Dollywood was about 8 miles in another direction. Even though the Parkway was so close, sitting outside of the cabin was very quiet and peaceful.Safety: We felt very safe and comfortable in the neighborhood and at the cabin.Walkability: Walking in the neighborhood is an option, but I would not think you would want to walk to any stores, restaurants or attractions from the cabin. It would be quite a walk.Food & drinks: Everything was provided to cook a meal in the cabin. Plenty of cookware, dishes and serving utensils.Noteworthy details: There are a few very steep roads that lead up to the cabin. We were in a Honda Pilot and did fine but a small car may struggle.

Beautifully decorated with a stunning view. Not far "up" the mountain but the view makes it feel like you are! Fully stocked kitchen. Loved having 2 car garage. Area was peaceful and quiet.Nearby activities: Very close to the Goat Coaster and ~25 mins from Dollywood/outlets.

Staff is very friendly and cabins are beautiful but basic amenities are definitely lacking for a luxury rental. Make sure to bring your own blow dryer, salt/pepper, coffee pods/sugar, sponge for kitchen sink/dishes, shampoos and even towels (ones provided are cheap and tiny like what you would find at a low budget motel). Very surprised at lack of amenities but cabins are spectacular.

During my stay I attended the gun range, and left one of my clips. A CLIP, NOT A FIREARM. The coordination and communication regarding shipping my non-firearm item to me is absolutely unacceptable. I was told I would receive correspondence of the process and was also told that UPS cannot ship a non-firearm item. Which is a lie because I contacted UPS and was given the article number that states ammunition and a gun clip can be sent because these are no-FFL items (article # 000015459). Despite a request to keep me updated on the process of returning my item to me, because I live in a different state. The company instead sent my item to the police department without providing any reference as to who I needed to speak to. I am highly displeased with the handling of this matter and would not recommend this company to anybody.

Had a great stay. Comfy furniture, spacious rooms, and dog friendly. Only complaint is the sauna was out of service during our stay and this was one of the reasons we picked this place. Otherwise great stay! Great price too.Rooms: Comfy furniture. Rooms were spacious.

In the process of making reservations, getting help confirming payment, making payments, the one thing I said everytime was the pool being warm was the highest priority. We rented Bear Trail Lodge 11/10-11/13/23. Upon arrival, neither the pool nor the jacuzzi were bearable from a temperature perspective and weren't bearable until late Saturday afternoon and by Saturday evening, the pool was cold again. Maintenance guy came out - told us the pool was 80 and the jacuzzi was 100. Actual vendor guy took the Temps. Pool was 70. Jacuzzi was 80. Jacuzzi stayed bearable. Pool cold again by Saturday evening but I just gave up wasting my time trying to get out addressed. Also upon arrival, lights downstairs flipped the breaker every 15 minutes. Finally, just left it dark. Daughter jammed her toe on the steps because she couldn't see. Finally fixed Sunday afternoon....18 hours left in our vacation. Door knob to the outside in one of the bedrooms fell off. Rug a trip hazzard. Folded it up while we were there - grandsons feet black because the floor underneath hadn't been cleaned. Might be a great place one day but Would NOT recommend renting until the issues are worked out. And definitely need better customer support in resolving issues.Rooms: No closets. No dressers to put clothes or luggage on or inNearby activities: Loved the arts and crafts communitiesNoteworthy details: Kitchen is fantastic. Pool and jacuzzi were useless as they were too cold to enjoy and the chlorine fine were unbearable. Game rooms would have been great if the lights would stay on

Nothing to complain about here. I was a little hesitant about seeing neighboring cabins close on either side on the online photos but they have done a fantastic job with creating total privacy. Each Cabin is angled in a way that cuts your view of neighbors and gives you nothing but a gorgeous mountain skyline. The cabin we stayed in was stocked with every kitchen amenity you could think of, bed were comfortable, layout was very spacious, and the loft style game room was a very fun experience. We stayed in "Time Well Wasted". I would highly recommend and hope to come back again for a future vacation.Nearby activities: This a great place to just hide away in the cabin or if you want activities for the family there is no shortage of things to do like Mountain Coasters, Museums, Shows, Comedy, Dining, Hiking, etc in the areas of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. Plus Hearthside will send you details before your stay of everything the local area has to offer. Very convenient.Safety: We thought we might have some fear of heights being situated on a steep incline, but the cabins are very sturdy and give a great sense of safety. Theft is not a major concern as you are up a mountain however they do have a great locking system and everything is very secure when you head out for activities.
