Be careful shopping there, they are quick to accuse you of stealing!!!!! My wife bought 8 chairs and as I started loading them in my car, two store clerks accused me of stealing them. Never ask to see a receipt, just accused me of stealing. We have bought hundreds of dollars worth of items over the years but today was the last. Terrible attitude towards customers.

Not what it used to be. Gabes bought it out. More like a Chinese free for all. Never did find salt and pepper shakers like used to have . Clean enough I guess

My daughter has recently relocated to the area, and during our visit to Old Time Pottery in Pigeon Forge, we were pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of items available to assist her in settling into her new home. The prices are quite competitive, even when compared to Walmart and Target. It remains to be seen how these items will hold up over time.
I would also like to commend the customer service we received. Claudia, in particular, provided exceptional assistance during our visit.outstanding in her assistance. She generously offered me her phone so that I could reach my daughter, who needed to visit another store in the area to gather supplies for moving furniture.

I really want to post this as a reminder to ALWAYS check your receipts.
I have loved this store and come down from SW Virginia several times a year. We were down the weekend of the 7th of December and the store looks totally different (items carried). I bought several Christmas gifts and some shoes that were on clearance for Operation Shoebox (Franklin Graham’s organization).
The cashier tried to ring up a standup snowman twice and I had her remove it, but somehow there were two other charges on there and we have no clue what it’s for. At first I just thought I wasn’t remembering everything, but after a triple check there was nothing in our bag that matched and it had 17 items and we only had 15. Some tractor ornament and something classic library and they rung up back to back. Again, no clue very strange that happened. Not a huge cost but $10 +|- total. I just hate being charged for something I didn’t purchase.
We tried to call the store for several weeks but no answer. I was finally successful on the 29th and spoke with Marvin, who was pleasant. Unfortunately, they can’t do anything to help me. Not a store credit any attempt at customer service. I told him I could email receipt or something and that even if they could make a note, we are coming back in March and would have gladly presented receipt. They have been bought out by Gabe’s and things are different. He suggested I call the next day after 9 and speak to GM, Robert. I tried calling this morning and asked to speak with him and put on hold and someone else answered stating he was on conference call. I just thanked her and hung up. I’m giving up, It’s really not worth the hassle. I’ve learned a lesson and will no longer shop and support a business that lacks customer service.
If you continue to frequent this vendor, watch very carefully as it’s ringing up and double check the receipt before you leave. If you leave and experience this same scenario as above, not sure they can help you. Since you don’t have the item to return and for all they know you are keeping item and trying to claim you didn't buy it. I just don’t feel comfortable shopping in a store like this. What a mess, very sad.

I was looking at a grave side flower to put on my parents grave that were advertised as 25% off. The flowers were sunflowers, roses and other summer flowers that grow in the summer. When I went to pay they said the flowers were fall flowers and refused to the 25% as

Normally i love old time pottery but the employees today were all rude. I had gotten something a couple days ago for my girlfriends birthday but I hadn't realized it was broken, and when I bought it the Cashier told me if anything happens to come back and they'll exchange it and today just a few minutes ago I walk in ask to exchange something and immediately I'm met with rude and sarcastic comments. They told me I can do the exchange or anything and okay I'd be okay with that if someone hadn't already told me I could and if the cashiers weren't so rude. It's not hard to just tell someone nicely that you don't do it anymore. There no harm in being nice, and it wasn't just one it was a couple of them at the front.
