Easy check-in and friendly staff! Easy navigating in and out of property entrance. The free breakfast was better than I expected. Had an issue with noise in a room nearby during our stay but was relocated to another room promptly when I talked with front desk. Thanks for making our visit pleasant!Rooms: Very spacious and the suites have all the amenities you'd ever need.Nearby activities: Very close to many good restaurants, great shopping and lots of family activities.Safety: You can only access the building with your room key card.

One of the nicest Residence Inns I have stayed in. Newly built, so that helps. Very spacious.

Great hotel -- clean, comfortable, convenient (but peaceful) location and friendly service.Aside from what’s included in other reviews, I thought I’d share a tidbit I discovered that others may find helpful. While the TV allows you to sign into your accounts like Netflix and Amazon Prime, we like to bring/use our own streaming device. The TV's settings menu has a convenient feature to switch the input to HDMI 2 to allow you to do this. BUT, you don’t use the HDMI 2 input on the TV itself. Instead the input is on the black box connected to the TV (see photo -- ours was mounted to the backside of the cabinet). Plugged it in there and it worked perfectly. Overall, a great stay for our first visit to PF.Noteworthy details: Nice fenced-in dog area and plenty of places to take your pooch for a walk around the property.

*WOW* I had one of those live and learn days today. My family had a cabin in the mountains but we decided to come up a day early and just a get a room at one of the local hotels we stay at almost every year with a large group of 15-20 guests. Figured no big deal right... well, I sure was wrong. We rolled in tonight 9:30 p.m. and to our surprise there was zero availability at the first 5 or so hotels we stopped at, all situated around the same area in pigeon forge. Long story short.... the last one we stopped at, this one, Residence Inn, Pigeon Forge was at the end of the strip we checked on and I was greeted with the nicest host, (manager I'm guessing) lady at the front desk that I had talked with out of all the other hotels up to this point. Her name was Morgan and let me tell you she was super helpful, she was able to accommodate us and she was very empathetic. The other staffs down the strip should learn from this lady. She was very professional and she took my Bonvoy member number and next I knew she was handing me key cards. The facility is beautiful, front entrance area is extremely clean with a high-end appeal to it. The room was amazing, super clean, very contemporary, super comfy, super spacious, etc... I honestly can't say enough about Mrs. Morgan and the room she put us in. We have been staying in Pigeon Forge for years and we have found a new place to lay our head when on vacay here. If you are on the fence, take it from a family that has stayed at a bunch of different places, and who is very concerned with cleanliness and space for a large family, this place hits on all points! You want be disappointed. Let me add, I do not work for Marriot or any hotel group, I don't even have any family members that do and I did not know Mrs. Morgan at the front desk before we walked in tonight. I don't leave a lot of reviews but when I have an experience like this, I sure want to let others know who may be looking for a great place to stay. Morgan, if you see this... thanks again for your empathy and willingness to help us like you did. If you are not the manager, you should be in training! I employ a fairly large staff and the way you greeted me, listened to me, and then assisted me was first rate and worthy of being taught to others in your profession! Keep up the good work and we will be back. Thanks for an amazing comfy stay when we were dead dog tired and had no place to stay! - TW & CrewRooms: Very clean, modern, comfy beds, large highend fridge, small in counter stove, cabinets, kitchen seating, pull out bed, elegant bathroom, entire room had a very high end appeal. There was nothing about this room or our stay that seemed cheap or dirty, entire place was exact opposite. Great Hotel... Would give more stars if possible. One stay and you will be back, guaranteed!

One of the worst stays I’ve ever had. I had made sure on several occasions that we had a handicap accessible room. But it turns out it was just a regular room. My daughter is in a wheelchair and needs an accessible room with a roll in shower. But what we got was a regular room. There is nothing handicap accessible about this room was just your normal average every day room. I complained to the front desk and this is what I was told that the room was on their computer as accessible so no one there knows their inventory. as told that I could switch rooms with someone but I declined I was not going to inconvenience me and my daughter nor the person that we would be changing rooms with that should never have been necessary and I was told that they didn’t know that I was coming or not so they gave the room way I got there an hour before check-in time and the room was already assigned out and I’m thinking it was several hours before they had no clue if I was going to show or not, but to give the the accessible room away long before check-in time is inexcusable this is the worst day I’ve ever had and I will never stay here again. The front desk has no clue their inventory, and they give away assessable rooms long before check-in time. But let it be known that the front desk is blaming all of this on me because I was unwilling to switch rooms. Which never should have happened.

I checked in at 5:30pm on a Saturday, I was assigned a room with a window that faced only a wall. This not only deprived me of any semblance of a view but also made the room significantly darker than expected.I approached the front desk hoping to address the issue, and simply requested a room with a clear window view. However, despite the apparent vacancy, I was informed that all rooms were booked and checked in. And I was told:”this is what you booked!!!”I booked a king studio room, not a wall view room! Rude and disrespectful. If a well-lit room with a decent view is a priority for you, I’d advise seeking other accommodations.

This was the worse hotel experience ever. Terrible customer service and filthy rooms. I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel. Marriott says they have a smoke-free hotel policy, that’s a lie! My room was like walking into a designated smoking lounge. There was no manager on duty the entire Labor Day weekend and the hotel did not provide any other accommodations, offer to cancel our reservation and refund our money. This is unethical and entrapment to charge a customer for a room that did not comply with Marriott’s standards and the promise to customers, as per The Marriott Smoke-free Hotel Policy.

Beautiful very clean rooms! All areas were visibly clean and all hallways smelled good. The dog park area that's fenced in is a great touch! I didn't have any children with me and did not swim but I really enjoyed watching the other hotel guests kids swim in the pool. Really nice place and reasonably priced. I will be back ?

My daughter and I stayed there in August. From check-in to check-out, the staff was awesome. Breakfast was good every morning. The only thing, I learned to go down as early as possible to avoid wait time for making waffles. A newer hotel, it was cleaned and sanitized. I also discovered that you have to request for your room to be cleaned; but the housekeeper on the fifth floor was super kind and amazing. Parking is free; however, they should incorporate more handicapped parking spaces. We had a wonderful time and added an additional day to our stay. If we travel to that area again, this will be our place to stay. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating to us!

I was very disappointed by the staff and service in this hotel. We visited over Labor Day weekend and choose this hotel because of it's spacious rooms and in room kitchenette. I am fully aware that we visited on a holiday weekend and had no issues with how busy the hotel was. The issue I had with this hotel was 100% the service and house keeping. Upon arrival there was no information regarding room cleanings. Almost every time we went down to the front desk there was no one out at the desk, they were in the back room. I had requested extra towels on the app prior to arrival and they never arrived. I called down multiple times and requested towels multiple times, yet they never arrived. We also requested for our room to be cleaned and after 3 days not a single trash can in the room was emptied, no new sheets or towels were received. For me staying at a hotel is about the service. If I wanted to go on vacation and have to do laundry and dishes and clean my own room I would have booked an air bnb. Service is key and at this hotel it was non-existent. If there are staff shortages that is totally understandable but give guests a way to request cleaning that is reliable.

I assume the Marriott has a new standart to not clean room and making beds. But at least they changed the towels and added new hand soaps. The hotel is brand new, so do the bed sets and blankets. Breakfasts were good, the pool is very nice- with hot tub and kids zone. The view from the hotel on the Smokies is gorgeous. The Island is just around the corner.

This was the first time in a long time I had such an amazing experience at a hotel stay! Everything from check-in to our room was exceptional! Taryn and the entire staff are so great and attentive. The views and fun at Pigeon Forge are already a plus, so being able to come back to such a nice hotel after a full day made it all the more better! I look forward to staying here again soon!
