I would recommend FBCR to everyone without hesitation. I grew up in a church home, but had some bad experiences with a few after I moved out on my own and left the church for 12 years. I always stayed true to my faith, but the building was corrupt with false teachings and too much focus on offerings and making money. This is the first church I have visited in over a decade that didn’t make me or my family feel pressured into church, offerings, or out of place in anyway. You will always feel welcome and apart of the fellowship. They focus on the teachings of Christ, worship, and fellowship. The church is very active in the community with many events year round. They don’t push Christ down your throat, but if you need to hear the gospel they will take as much time as needed to make sure you get it. The people of the church, after one visit, made it feel like home. I truly believe that they would be there for us if we ever needed it. Come to one service. Just one! You’ll keep coming back forever.

My wife, Gale, and I recently joined this church when I had the opportunity to begin serving as a volunteer pianist for their worship services. We find the congregation to be very warm and friendly, with a heart for supporting missions, local and global. The church is active in the Harvest Baptist Association (formerly Robertson County Baptist Association), TBC and SBC. In addition to Bible Study and Worship Services, they minister locally by monitoring the Blessing Box, a volunteer food distribution program in the church parking lot. They are also involved with Operation: Christmas Child and the Women of Joy conferences (in Gatlinburg). If you are looking for a local, loving church with intimate, family-style ministries, please visit the First Baptist Church of Ridgetop, Tennessee.

Me and my family absolutely love this church. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming to us. The pastor is always willing to help and talk if you need. My kids also love coming here. My youngest can’t wait to get back to church. We could not ask for a better church home. I absolutely love coming to church here.

I love this church! We had been to many churches before we found this one about a year ago.It is now our new church home. They are wonderful people and the pastor teaches what is in the Bible. That was so important to us. They also have a great Sunday school program for all ages. They all learn the same study each week just at the different level for the different ages. If you are looking for a small church that is growing and want to be part of a family then this is definitely one you want to check out. The people here are genuine and not just putting on a front like most people we have met since we moved down here to TN.
