This is the second year I have used Jackson Hewitt Tax Services and the service I received was excellent both times. I requested the same person that did my taxes last year, Mr Price, at your Rogersville TN office. Mr Price was very professional, and personable and I will ask for him again next year.

Our experience at this tax preparation business can be described as “challenging” at best. In over 30 years of having our taxes done professionally, in both Michigan and Tennessee we have never paid more than $80.00. This business charged $486.00 for a personal return that was not itemized with a print out from a professional financial advisor included. Without our knowledge or permission the preparer provided electronic authorization for our personal financial information to be shared with numerous institutions. He did not inform us of a promotion that was going on to save 50 per cent for new clients and when we requested the savings we were told, “The check is in the mail.” That was more than two weeks ago. Let the buyer beware. We certainly regret doing business with these people.

Went and talked to Bruce about my tax withholdings for my w4 cause the seemed incorrect and he was super helpful with all the questions I asked and he even went above and beyond and broke everything down so a normal person like me could understand how it all worked.

I cannot say enough good things about Bruce Price with Jackson Hewitt. He helped us navigate a very tedious tax filing situation today after another tax service made a huge error, which cost us dearly.
