Never answers phone and cant seem to deliver packages properly

Twice in the past week and a half my packages have been delayed in delivery. Twice my packages were mis-sent to a post office that does NOT deliver my mail. Instead of owning their mistakes, it was labeled as my porch being inaccessible. Funny thing is, 2 of the 3 packages made it the day of promised delivery. This was not my porches issue-someone somewhere doesn't know how to read, and someone else covered that and decided to blame me and my porch. My mail carrier from 37873 is excellent. Don't want to answer your phones to talk, have an online review! Rogersville, TN, 37857 has now done this twice.
After reading other reviews I will add that yes, landon is a poor representative for the usps.

These people are the WORST. The phone number must not work, because it rings and rings and you will never speak to a person. I've called them over 20 times. Never had anyone answer. I even called as I walked in to see if I could hear a phone. Nothing. Silence. The people are apathetic, rude, and downright lazy. They've changed where they deliver my mail idk how many times over the course of 5 years. Sometimes it's in the ACTUAL MAILBOX ON THE HOUSE. Sometimes it's in the rain on the back porch. I'm so sick of dealing with these people. If I could have things delivered to me by a dang carrier pigeon, I'd jump at the chance to never have to speak to another soul at the post office again

Delivery driver to lazy to bring package to door. Will just say driveway is blocked or nobody there to sign. Will make zero effort to deliver.

I had a package (expensive Boots) left sitting next to my mailbox in my rural community!
Pure laziness of my mail carrier!
They could have and should have brought them to my porch since the box was too big to fit in my mailbox.

I have a package in route to me and my email notification shows that it should have been delivered today.....however, tracking shows that it arrived early AND in Rogersville at 6:20 am only to be working its way through the system in MARYVILLE an hour later. Why would usps send it to another location?? This type of incompetent service almost makes you wonder if its intentional.

In all my years I have NEVER come across a post office that's negligent with someone's mail. I have since DAY ONE had issues with either not getting my mail or getting someone else's mail and packages. It's NOT my job to walk up a hill or.. get on facebook to find the person the mail belongs too. This is YOUR job. If you can't do it.. then you should NOT be employed with a government job. Now your being spiteful and not giving me my mail at all so.. here's what we are gonna do. If I do not get my mail, I will start a petition against this post office. There are MANY that complain about not getting their mail or getting someone else's. I'm also taking notes moving forward on any mail I get that does not belong to me. My camera's are on. Lastly, If I don't get my mail that I'm expecting.. I will be suing the mail carrier directly as I will know by my camera's who it was that didn't drop my mail ` when mail should've been delivered. I had to pay a late fee with the water company becuz I never got the bill in my mailbox. You people are LAZY. How a carrier can screw up deliveries when houses are spread-ed out. Bigger cities don't have issues like this. You all should be removed from the post office and let people who actually need a job... do the job.

Do not use this place for any packages every package that can fit in my mailbox has been marked delivered but was never delivered even after waiting 5 days. I’m contacting Rogersville sheriff to file a complaint and have hopefully find the delivery driver that fraudulently said it’s been delivered to or in my mailbox and have them brought up on criminal charges!

I put my mail out at 9:30 a.m. (pick up is usually in afternoon), on 7/03/23. I live outside of town, and everyone on my road had their mail picked up, except me! Mail was out, flag was up, no obstructions around mailbox; so what was the problem? Very inept postal service.

I ordered rare hatching eggs. Tracking showed it was at the Rogersville tn post office at 6:30 am. Before I left to pick up my eggs I decided to look again at the tracking number. It now says the package was at another post office. I called 5 times, no answer. My husband and I drove to the post office which is 20 minutes away. The post office did not have one customer in the lobby so now I'm wondering why they didn't pick up the phone. The clerk in front was leaning against the back counter on his cell phone. I spoke to the clerk and showed him my phone that had the details of the shipping. He had me talk to the Post Master Stephany Bailey. I explained the situation and also informed her now the new date of delivery changed to the 31st. Which now would have been over a week. She had no compassion nor did she care on what I had to say. I then asked her for a corporate number. Her response was " go ahead, I'm the Post Master, it's just going to come back to me." Really!! Wow!! I asked her if she could call the other post office to tell them to make sure the package is redirected. Her response was " yes, I could but it will automatically redirect tonight." So no, she did not call. I voiced my concern how I could not get through to a person by phone and that I had to make the trip. She told me that the carriers needed to go out. So, no one else can pick up the phone? Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a problem. Bottom line, I received absolutely NO help, No package, and probably dead eggs. This is the worst running post office that I have ever experienced. Higher up needs to look into this location.

Time sensitive packages never arrive on said day, mail is always delivered late seems to be a recurring pattern for the driver. This is absolutely horrible service package was supposed to be delivered today and time line is literally almost up. So who is going to pay for the rush shipping that I paid for just to not get my package on time?
