I’ve been cashing my checks at this bank for over a year, and I’ve always been greeted by the most sincere and genuine employees this includes Sarah Beth, Kyle, and Leeann. I worked at the Shiloh Golf Course in Adamsville, TN and my checks were made by the HCB so therefore my checks could be cashed without an upholding bank account. I recently transferred jobs and began working at Savannah Donut located down the road from this bank. My checks were no longer made by HCB so with that being said I can no longer cash my checks here without a bank account. Without my acknowledgment of this they continued to cash my checks with no problem, but today after work I decided to make a bank account so I could start managing money better. I went in and asked to make a bank account, and considering I’ve never banked before I went to the counter where I was greeted by a kind woman who told me to go to the woman at the desk. As I sat down at the desk the woman rolled her eyes. I don’t know if maybe she had a long day and was tired of doing HER JOB or what the situation was, but never is that okay or appropriate in any job involving customer service. Being that this occurred I decided I no longer wanted to start a bank account here. Before leaving completely I went by the window to at least cash my check and that’s when Julia completely ignored me and just ejected the metal transfer. I placed my check in there and asked to get it cashed like I have the prior weeks and then she informed me in a rude manner that I couldn’t without and account. This has never been a problem before, and I asked why they’ve cashed it before and she simply said “whoever did it probably wasn’t supposed to, take it to the community bank”. They’ve lost my business and my respect. I don’t know if this review helps anyone else, but I wouldn’t recommend this bank or at least not with its current employees.
