Rural Routes need a lot of help. I understand this area sucks, but so do most of your carriers. My main driver in Fairgarden is pretty good. He is quick and brings your boxes to the door.Everybody else likes to crush small packages into the mailbox. You know, the kind where you literally have to bend your box to get it out because it's wedged. If it won't fit, they don't even try to bring it. You get a little note saying "I am so sorry I don't do my job."Sometimes they are nice enough to leave boxes in the ditch behind the mailbox. The one full of mud and water. I used to think mail was Federally protected. My favorite is getting a notification at 630 AM saying "delivery attempted" but you find out they just didn't want to bring it... and before you say "that's policy," I had the exact same size package delivered successfully the day before. In fact, it was a duplicate order. Consistency is obviously a struggle.Considering you're government and union, I don't expect anything to ever improve. Don't worry. You do need to know that most of you suck, though.

This post office needs a federal inspector to clean house. Something is seriously wrong at that post office. Packages disappearing, poor and no service. This needs to go national.

the Sevierville, post mistress needs to be fired, miss deliveries once a week. usually on newspaper day. never answers phone. Left many messages, never phone call back. If she can't handle the job, need to get someone who can!

They lie and say they attempted to deliver a package when in reality they never were at your house in the first place, and refuse to redeliver days or even weeks after you set up the redelivery. They keep your mail and packages hostage. Honestly the worst place to deal with for packages. Worse than lasership.

My package was intentionally sent back for complaining to Post Master about Courier not delivering packages to my house (my house is 200 yards off of King Branch)Sunday: Package attempted to deliver to house, to big, no details left of attempt.Monday: HolidayTuesday: I go to post office to inquire about package. Back on route (which they will refuse you deliver because of size)I speak with Postmaster about this insane circle and delay due to courier not delivering packages. Post master would look into situation. Said they needed to Route the road. New drivers etc. I was empathetic, told him the chaos and delays their system creates. He told me he would look into it and address it.Wednesday: I visit Post Office. I found out the packages I inquired about were sent back to sender. “Bad Address”Ordered through Amazon. I’ve delivered dozens of packages to same addresses.Normal hold policy is two weeks at Postal Service. The Lazy and inefficient Postal Cycle:They bring packages out on route, don’t deliver them if to big for mailbox. Then take back to post office and do the same thing for 2-3 days in a row. So a basic delivery takes 4-5 days longer and requires me to drive 15 miles to the post office. Why? Cause the mail delivery person won’t drive 200 yards to our house. FedEx and UPS drives it all the time. This is what good ol fashion government grade programs look like. The only positive point is the clerks at the front desk are very friendly and courteous.

Came here to cash a money order for 200 dollars. They did not have enough cash to give me the money... TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS... If you know anything about Sevierville you know how ridiculous it is to drive all the way to the post office just to have them ask you to come back in a couple hours. Worthless.

I can’t imagine how our carrier gets away with his slovenly way of doing things. And finding a way to register a complaint is nonexistent. Trying to get a phone call answered at the local post office is a futile exercise. This organization suffers from systemic failure at all levels.

This post office has some of the laziest carriers working for them!! They will claim that they attempted delivery on my packages @ a specific time when I was at home while they were never actually anywhere near my property. We have security cameras that point towards the mailbox and of course they never even attempted delivery. There have also been many times that they claim the “mailbox was full.” Again, they never even attempted delivery during that time, so not sure how they would know the mailbox was full or not.One of the latest things they did on the day of delivery was put that the package was out for delivery early that morning then in the afternoon changed the package status to “package picked up by customer at Sevierville post office” when in fact I never picked up the package that day at all. 2 days later they decided to deliver it but when they entered the false information, they made me think that a stranger had picked up my package, so for days I thought the package had been stolen and had contacted the seller to notify them that they would have to file a claim. Spent hours trying to deal with this just because the carrier didn’t want to deliver it and entered false information into their system. They always select untrue statements/options on their website. At least choose a truthful statement like “Carrier didn’t want to deliver package on this day” or “ “No room in vehicle, will deliver at a later time.” Be honest, don’t select something that is untrue. It’s very misleading. We have had decent carriers in the past and I do appreciate their hard work, but this review is for the lazy ones and the ones that we’ve been dealing with lately who keep selecting false statements so it will “appear” to Amazon that they attempted delivery.I hate that Amazon has contracted with them to deliver packages because they are definitely not holding up to their contractural agreement with them. The Amazon corporate office has been contacted and notified about the ongoing issue that everyone seems to be having here in Sevierville with their packages. The feedback on Google says it all. They are not reliable at all!! Every other week there is an issue with my packages whether they are Amazon packages or regular post office packages. Would someone PLEASE hold these people accountable? They SUCK!!

If it was possible to give them a -10 minus I would’ve. Today I was waiting on a package from Amazon. I hate when Amazon sends using our postal service!!! UPS and FEDEX use GPS and can locate my address not so for the United States Post Office. I think we need to go back to carrier pigeons.Several months ago I had medication sent to me using the post office who “could not find my address” so they returned my medication. I went to the post office because calling doesn’t do any good and they assured me I will get my next medication package. Now I have had another issue that is troubling. How would you like to find a good size box sitting on the front of the mailbox!?!? A small package was inside the mailbox but the box was too large and it was left on the flap!! It could have been brought to the porch. I live in the country on a corner lot. I am surrounded by tourist cabins and there is construction just down the road….no other exit but come back past my home. That box was conveniently placed so anyone could help themselves to it. I am missing another package but not having a tracking number I don’t know if it was placed outside the mailbox and stolen.

Attempted to have an Amazon package delivered to our vacation home. Driver marked it as incomplete/incorrect address. The address was NOT incomplete or incorrect. USPS customer service gave me the number for the Sevierville Post Office so that I could figure out the problem or have them hold it for pickup but they do not answer their phones. I’ve been trying all day. This is why people hate USPS.

I honestly believe that there are a few delivery drivers that hate their job. Packages too big for the mailbox belong on the covered porch. Not In the middle of the driveway or half hanging out of the mailbox and stuck inside because it was forced in there. My favorite I think is when they say there was a delivery issue. I think the issue is a few of the delivery drivers don’t want to get out of their vehicles and do their job
