I’ve used this shop 3 times in the past year since moving into the area. Honest, fair priced, and quick service by good people. They are my go to shop until I see otherwise, but don’t think I will.

Sign says they work on Transmissions, brought them a battery under warranty and paid $152 to have it screwed into my car and be recommended to a transmission shop. No other work was done.

I usually do my own repairs and maintenance on my vehicles but periodically something comes up I don't want to mess with as a backyard mechanic....I've had work done a few times here, each time it's great work, done at a fair price.

Update: I refuse to go here any more, their prices have been jacked up so high, you cant afford it. Now I go to Norton's around the corner. Much better pricing & the mechanics do a great job! So, instead of 5 stars, I'm now giving it 1.
We've used Ellis Auto for probably 30 years. I love Wayne (retired now) & Shannon & don't take my car anywhere else to be serviced.

These guys did a great job on my car! Very honest and quick to get the job done! I do recommend for women , especially, who are intimidated to solo travel to a mechanic! I will be going back for future repairs !

I have been bringing my vehicles over to Ellis for years and have always been pleased with both the outcome & pricing. Recently I had a different type of emergency when I discovered a stray kitten in my engine while driving into work. Ellis was close by and Shannon and Gene immediately went to work getting it out. I'm happy to say the kitten came through a bit ruffled but unharmed. Ellis Auto Services and the people that work there are an asset to the community and exactly the sort of small business we should be supporting!
