Would give a zero if possible for customer service and lack of attention to surroundings. Went in looking for fall decorations was happy to see the variety of items. However, there was an employee on the phone the entire time moving items around in the area I was attempting to choose items from. Several times I had to say excuse me and I was having to maneuver around her just shuffling things from one area to another, while she had a quiet personal conversation. At no point did she even move for my husband to bring the cart down to where I was he was forced to walk around and come back up the item to get the items I was holding. She never once got off the phone or moved out of the way. At this point I chose to leave with the few items and go to the self checkout with a green light on with no sign saying out of order as there was no employees up front. As I was picking items out of my cart she abruptly (while still on her personal call) said "this doesn't work". Which I replied to my husband lights green and no sign and I'm not being spoken to like this and treated poorly as there is Dollar Generals on every corner I chose to leave the cart with items, and take my business elsewhere. Store was clean and well stocked for that alone would get a few extra stars. Picture: employee finally realizing cart was left and looking around still on the phone. DO BETTER

Coke 12 pack products were on sale 3 for $12. There was only one 12 pack of Sprite Zero. The sign said that you had to buy three to receive the sale price. There is never enough, if any, Sprite Zero in stock.

Very nice employee, very patient and understanding. I had just stopped to get dog food but as always, I couldn't help but to get more than what I had stopped for. So once she had rung up all my items my total came out to $103.45 which is normal for me to spend so I always make sure I have at least $120.00 or more on me when I plan on shopping at Dollar General, well this time before I entered the store 1 of my sons had gotten some money from me and I had forgotten about it while shopping so needless to say I was short when it came time to pay, so I ask the young lady employee if she could take a few items off and place them on hold for me and I would go ahead and pay for the remaining items.She was so sweet and nice about it all and agreed to do so. I told her I have to run home get some more money and I would be back in about 30 to 45minutes to pay for and get the other items she said she would keep it right there behind the counter for me and to take my time that she would keep it for me. I live 1 county away and yes I passed 3 more Dollar General stores before I got home the 3rd store is less than 2 minute walk from my front door, but I gave my word I would come back and purchase the remaining items from her if she would hold them there for me and she kept her word and I kept my word and purchase the items from her Dollar General store and to me the patience, understanding and kindness she showed me was worth driving all the way back for and I will keep coming back to this Dollar General store because this young lady employee is a person of her word and very patient, sweet and understanding. Thank you
