“I moved to Smithville recently and of course had to check out the local shopping. I am not typically a big fan of Walmart in general because of crowds, lack of service and getting lost in the store. My conclusion: this is one of the best Walmart stores in the country for a few reasons. Customer service has been great overall. For example, in grocery area I was looking for rosemary and thought I may not find it. I spoke to a very tall gentleman stocking and he said he would check in back and quickly came out with a supply. I was still shopping and saw actual rosemary plants! I gave the packaged rosemary back to the gentleman and ended up buying the live plants. On multiple occasions I had primer and stain shaken at the paint desk. The associates were friendly, kind and courteous. The prices there are better than Ace Hardware too making it the best choice for those of us on a budget. The checkout lines even on Black Friday were moving faster than many Walmart's on a normal day.”
