I took my Morkipoo in (as a walk in) today at Premier Vetcare. My dogs have been patients at Premier for several years however I had switched to a different vet the last few years. There was no one in the waiting room when I arrived. Got checked in and a vet tech came out and asked what was wrong and explained what they might do and the cost. Five minutes later the vet tech brought my dog out and said she was to tense to do an X-ray. She said the vet said she had some inflammation, to keep my dog immobile for about ten days and gave me a prescription for Vetprofin. She said if my dog still had a problem after ten days, to bring her back and they would sedate my dog and do an x-Ray. Not once did I talk to or see a veterinary doctor. It cost me $ 65.00 (normal walk in fee is $ 50.00) to walk through the door. I paid another $ 15.00 for medication. I left this practice because I got tired of their over pricing. There are excellent doctors out there who are more reasonable. I know because I found a wonderful, caring vet in College Grove. I will say this is a top notch practice but they over charge on everythiUsually they'll give the clgf mmendatibefo

Be very cautious when using Gabapentin and Aluminum hydroxide together. It can cause constipation and then bowel blockage. The levels of toxicity can cause neurological issues, even death. I wish my vet had known. We gave her thin food in a syringe around the clock. The emergency Vet told they couldn't do more for her than I was. My baby girl died in my arms at 2AM yesterday. Just had a great check-up a month ago. Kidney values so much better. It was too late before a little searching with Google to find any of this. Can't call the vet or leave a message to find out what to do. E-mail only and wait or just show up. No personal touch anymore. No relationship with your doctor to feel some level of confidence They are in good hands. Do your pet a favor and do a little digging around. They, of course ,are not responsible. They said they had improved her quality of life since they changed her meds on 11/23/21. Yes, her kidneys worked better as the meds slowly killed her. Our previous cats lived to be 15, 17, and 19. Lexie was 12.

Professional, compassionate care and an incredibly wonderful front desk staff, too. They weren't able to help our kitty because he was just too far gone, but they were amazing and got us in so quickly. Great people!!

My most heartfelt gratitude goes out to the staff and doc of this wonderful pet hospital. We had to make the humane choice to let our RuRu go. We are still grieving. But RuRu is no longer suffering from DKA. Forever loved. Thank you for making a painful situation a little bit more manageable. She really has left a hole in our hearts.

After going to the clinic right after it opened until now we've never had any issues with the services we needed to take care of our small dog 8#. Now I'm informed the dog gets too stressed for a nail trim and anal express without giving her relaxing meds before hand?? Brought her in twice trying get this done without meds ,- epic failure. The staff doesn't want to deal with animals that are naturally going to resist. Doctors are great - tech staff and assistants not so much. Good luck if you try them out! You've been warned!!

Although I would like to give premier 2 stars based on customer service, I can not based on how well they do care for pets. The vets are always very loving with the animals and do provide great care. My family has been taking our pets there since it opened. Unfortunately, we will be switching vets do to the experiences we have had the past several times we have had to visit. Each time, we make an appointment for a set time. For a while now, it has seemed like it is pointless to even make an appointment. I would say for the past 3 years, every time we have had to visit it has taken about an hour and a half to be placed in an actual exam room. Of course we do understand emergency situations or more urgent patients. But, when we make an appointment for a certain time for a simple wellness check or shot update it seems very excessive to have to wait almost 2 hours after the appointment time to be seen. We have tried now for a while to look past it and hope that it would improve but unfortunately it has turned into every visit now.

I can tell you I will absolutely never be back to this place. What a huge waste of time and terrible customer service from this group. Every time I visit I am told please bring your pet back whenever you want we will trim his nails for free. I email today to verify and get verification. I proceed to call to be sure and set up the appointment. Once again given verification that he is up to date on his shots and the service will be free. Take him in, oh shocker they want to charge for the nail trim!!! With merely a sorry for the miscommunication (not a miscommunication btw, just straight LIES) no word of apology for the inconvenience and waste of my day driving to the vet for a service that I was lured in with that isn't actually offered.

Don't go if you have an Emergency! I took my German Shepard that was in obvious pain with a fracture leg and they treated me as a walk in and told me they didn't Know how long it would be due to "scheduled visits" My dog needed emergency attention, I wasn't there for a nail trim or an upset stomach...

I love the people here, from receptionist to vets and beyond. Took my Sweetie Pie and Killer for first time and they were great. Explaining what needed to be done along with pricing and let me tell you, it was great. My Sweetie Pie had surgery yesterday and they kept me updated on her all day. When I brought her home she all of a sudden started bleeding bad. I got on phone to vet and he told me to bring her back so they could check her. I no sooner drove up and they were rushing out to get her and take her to the back. They explained they needed to take her back to surgery to find out what was going on. Turns out it was only a 'bleeder' which they explained was a pocket of blood. They took care of it and I got to bring her back home. She's doing great now. Just in pain a little which they gave her meds for. The people were so compassionate and caring. Easing my worry. I will never take my babies anywhere else. Thank you for all you do at this vet office.

Our 8 week old puppy, Mochi, was born with a hereditary heart problem and needed a PDA litigation surgery or his life expectancy would be short and painful. Unfortunately, these surgeries cost thousands of dollars through a veterinarian cardiologist, which we could not afford. We are SO thankful to have found Premiere Vetcare! The entire staff from the front to back was excellent. There were no hidden or surprise cost and Dr. Hatcher was honest about the potential risk. We were able to have Mochi's surgery done at a mere fraction of the cost. Thankfully, Mochi's surgery was successful. Dr Hatcher even brought him to his own home to personally monitor him that night. The staff communicatied with me throughout the entire process and even sent me update texts and pictures. This entire team works with excellence and compassion. We cannot thank them enough. Your pet could not possibly be in better hands. I highly recommend them!

We have had our yellow lab for 2 years, and taken it to Premier Veterinary and have experienced great service at affordable prices. Super caring staff, super clean facilities. Would not consider taking our pet anywhere else. Highly recommend all to try it.

Been a client for a couple of years. The ability to reach someone on the phone is IMPOSSIBLE! The transfer option of 100 to 101 is a circle and you can't leave a voicemail. The only time I've met with the actual vet is a surgery and one other time during a visit. Even looking past COVID rules it's like the employees all gathered behind the main doors are doing all the services...or are they? My golden doodle had his visit thru the covid rules... he was in and out in 15 minutes with , "all is fine". Odd, since he has a large tumor that popped up prior. My other dog has a visit today, the online site to book an appt appears to work, but there is zero option to reschedule. Which leads me back to why don't they answer calls? If emails or contact us the only alternative to communicate, why aren't you timely in responding back. The only reason you get 3 stars is reasonable pricing and the blonde lady that works the front desk is super awesome when you actually get in. Frustrated!!!

My dog Mayla is a long time patient of Premiere Vet Care. I've noticed during the last 2 years service and care has diminished significantly, the prices increased considerably, and the overall care for Mayla has diminished as well. 5 Years ago I raved about Premier, now all I can offer is for you to find a veterinary service who doesn't treat your loved one as a product on an assembly line. The good vets left. I guess they became tired of the business approach of Premiere. Today I rate them a 3. Because they DID manage to treat my dog's recent UTI, but instead of prescribing a antibiotic dosage adequate to end the illness, the vet prescribed a one week regimen. I returned, paid another $46 for a test and told to put her on 2 weeks of antibiotics. Because the vet knew nothing about Mayla's history, she went 4 days without medication. The vet also prescribed a "chewable" medication. If she knew who we were (a vet with a history of Mayla) she might have known Mayla won't chew anything. The most difficult dog who ever lived to give a pill to. The pharmacy did not carry the medication, and I waited 2 days for the medicine to arrive. Mayla was then 6 days without medication. The test they "send off to a lab" is priced 50% higher than other vets. I researched the prices among local vets. This clinic does not deserve to be rated any higher than - a mere "ok if you're desperate." I see in the reviews the decline in ratings since 2015 - a steady decline. Now I add my rating. Found a wonderful new vet today.

Was told 120 would cover all yearly shots and then that I had to come back for second shot that wasn't compatible with one of the shots that day and they charged us an extra 130. F*** NO. I'm never bringing my dogs here and will warm people to stay the f*** away from this excuse of a vet. F*** you guys
