Family Hobbies is a great little hobby shop with a friendly and helpful staff. The team has tons of knowledge and is always willing to help and answer questions. They offer a great variety of radio-controlled cars, boats, planes, and helicopters, with a wide variety of items and a large inventory of parts and accessories. The atmosphere is excellent. They also work on RCs and provide helpful advice without attempting to upsell, ensuring customers get exactly what they need. This local business knows their stuff, making it the best hobby shop around for anyone in the family.
I dropped in to get some components for a non RC related electrical repair I'm working on. The guy was very helpful, nice, and he gave me lots of helpful tips about soldering as I also picked up a soldering iron while I was there. I will probably go back if I decide to shop for a car or helicopter.
