four packages lost from January to today, March 11, in the tracking it appears that it was delivered and at what time, but the package is never delivered, when reviewing the camera videos it is very clear where they do not deliver the package, it is already four times I go to the office to ask about the package and they only give me a paper to fill out with my information and tracking number, they say that the manager is going to call me and he never calls, this only happens with packages, not with normal mail envelopes.

I arrived at 11:59 AM and the gate was closed. They didn’t even attempt to ask me if I needed help. They shouldn’t be closing the gate until 12 on the dot.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Rude, condescending & quite literally just don’t want to work. I came in to get a passport for my son & was turned away because “we were two mins in the appointment and the form wasn’t filled out”. With children, you fill the form out in front of the clerk. He just didn’t want to work. When we walked in and told him we had an appointment, he gave us attitude. Not to mention now the website isn’t working to reschedule.

The youg clerk at the window is very rude and is always late to work. She place the incorrect label on my package and will not accept the mistake she made.

I ordered a gift for my husband off Amazon for Christmas. It’s January 6th. It was supposed to arrive here yesterday. There has not been an update just it arrived in Smyrna, TN Wednesday. Today is Saturday. It’s like it just fell off the face of the Earth. I got online to look up the post office and it has the worst ratings I’ve ever seen. Mostly that people don’t get their packages from there and the don’t trust the employees. It looks like they have thieves working for them and they don’t even care. That location needs to be investigated. I’m going to start by contacting Amazon, that local postmaster, contact USPS consumer and Industry Contact person, file an online formal complaint with Inspector General OOG, and whatever else I need to do. I feel sorry for anyone that lives in that area. I’ve never seen so many complaints of thief.

I've been a resident of Smyrna for 17 years. In that time the Smyrna post office has never misplaced a piece of mail of mine. when I need to go into the post office my experience has been very positive, they are always professional and cordial. Considering all the cut-backs they are facing It's my opinion that they are doing a fantastic job. Keep up the great work!

It seems every time something I order and it is shipped via the post office. The package never makes it to my house. I lose money and merchandise. Because the mail person says it was delivered and it WAS NOT I have cameras and nothing was delivered to my house on the day it was supposed to be

I, too, cringe when I see FEDEX has handed my package off to this location. I'm pretty sure I won't be getting it. Seeing other reviews with the same issue, I just wonder what rabbit hole our things fall down.

This is the worst post office I’ve ever been to. They have marked my package as delivered a week ago whereas I have not received it. I’ve called the 800 number and filled a service request nothing has happened. Went to their location they were rude made me fill out another investigation form and nothing has happened I’ve asked to speak to the manager but they kept saying no one there. Worst place ever. And still I didn’t my package nor get the insurance because they marked it as delivered

Rude employees asked me to pay for their own mistake. I asked to weigh a book to see how much it would cost to mail to a given address. A staff member told me to write the address on an envelope and put the book inside. Another employee at the scale then told me to peel off the paper and seal the envelope before weighing it. He weighed it and gave me a price of over $10. I declined the offer and he told me I had to pay anyway because I wrote on the post office's envelope - the one his coworker told me to write on, that he then told me to seal when I asked for a shipping price. He kept talking over me and demanding I pay him for the envelope while the line grew behind me. He wouldn't stop until another employee told him to. Ridiculous and crooked behavior. The money isn't even the issue, the dishonesty is.

Two out of the last three times we have put a hold on our mail it wasn't delivered after the hold expired. I have had to go to the post office and get our mail. This time I asked what happened and why my mail wasn't delivered. This is the response I got from the postal worker. Since you set this up on line no one printed out the hold, so we didn't know when to deliver the mail. We are doing more with less and customer service isn't the priority. I didn't even know how to respond. Bottom line is the staff in general at this office truly demonstrate that customer service isn't a priority.
