Go to the First Horizon page and this is what you see first. "We're dedicated to helping you find solutions that put you in charge of every aspect of your financial life." This is a lie.I imagine there are some nice people who work here but Sandy is not one of them. She will not answer nor return calls.Be warned if you use Zelle often this bank has a non-negotiable $500 weekly limit. I had $26,000 in their bank, use Zelle daily and Sandy never answered my numerous requests to expand this limit. There are too many good banks to choose from where a customer might actually be respected. This branch is not that bank.

I use this location all the time, very well run. Sometimes they get busy but the tellers work hard and are always professional

I opened a checking account at this location. I actually had to go back in the bank to ask the gentleman about checks, his response was,"Oh, you want checks?" These people are so unprofessional, one teller was at her station eatting a sandwich! I have closed the account and going elsewhere.

2 stars for today’s customer service. I’ve been with this bank for years and since the whole covid thing I haven’t been able to make any cash deposits. I wanted to make a large 23k deposit. “Eve” (heavy set, short lady, short grey hair) had the weirdest attitude. Maybe it was because I didn’t have a mask with me? She acted as if I was some kind of criminal. Zero personality. I was going to get a cashiers check for another transaction before she shoved my card at me and said have a good day. Not the usual “anything else I can help you with” from the regular employees who know me. If this is now the kind of treatment I’m going to be getting from some miserable person such as herself then I’ll happily go down the road to regions.

The Northgate branch is very good at what they do. Keeping your money in their possession. Especially when a parent passes away and you have to go retrieve the funds and close the account while grieving. They are very strict and no-nonsense. They do it the way it should be done. Zero empathy, by the book, cold-hearted and very institutional. No sir-ree, no one will get that loved ones money without experiencing the proverbial whipping post. The Executor better be prepared to put aside any sadness for the lost family member and be ready for a Spanish-inquisition style, red-tape “Noâ€-fest that banks are known for because First Tenn has set that bar high. I feel confident that no fraudulent individuals will get past their level of scrutiny and unhelpful-ness. Unless, of course, they kiss the butts of the employees and make with the shmoozing, then they will probably get the account assets handed over to them in cash with no questions asked. But hey, that's just a guess from the way they treat legitimate estate administrators who have all of the appropriate probate paperwork...
