Front desk staff is rude and not very helpful. If you like getting hung up on, this is the place for you! If you value compassion and customer service, look elsewhere.

As a healthcare professional I know we are the most challenging individuals to provide service to and Dr. Seaton has serviced me quite effectively for the past decade or more. Being educated & residing in the south he gets it. He understands not only disease process but the challenges of the heat, humidity & all we confront. Doc practices still somewhat old school which impressed me. He has superior experience staff that assures all are comfortable in his modern decorated always clean reception room. His ass3ssment skills are too notch, his judgement has always been top notch. I really live him as he practices preventative medicine. He is prompt and direct at attending to all one's healthcare needs. He is loved by his patients & wildly respected in both the medical and local community. What I like most about him is the way he makes the patient feel valued and supports the patient in their healthcare journey. The most successful doctors listen to their patients which Dr. Seaton certainly does. The negative associated with Dr. Seaton is related to his volume , it generally takes 2 weeks for a regular appointment. I do not think you could find a better back in the woods doctor & I spent over 2 decades supervising doctors in the workplace.in rural West TN..,I do respect him greatly and as a cancer survivor we have gone thru complicated issues. There are better doctors but none better for me & prior to Dr Seaton I had one doctor for 59 yrs..We are blessed to have this man in this community & super blessed he picked Somerville to practice.

Been going here for years had a few bad experiences but still use them to do my blood work I have to go every three months. I call many times to be put on hold and never got to speak to anyone. Today called and tried to find out if they could pull blood never got a answer so I drove by and went in I asked the lady at the front desk if enough time had passed for my insurance to pay she told me it was my job to call the insurance company to find out that’s totally bs. They can look and see so I told her not to worry about me! I’ll find another doctor that knows! I hope David reads these reviews. His staff cost him customers in the past and I guess still are! Well I figured it was my fault I did call and talk to whoever answered the phone but here the real kicker I won’t be back not all but some of your staff if rude that why y’all have a big turn of in NP. I didn’t leave a message I talk to someone so your investigation is wrong. We won’t have to worry about it anymore .

Not impressed by Nurse Practitioner, Andrea Swain. Went in for a physical. No blood drawn, no urinalysis. Listened to heart and lungs, and made sure my arms and legs worked. Refused to fill out the paperwork needed after physical to enter assisted living. Not friendly at all. Acted like we were bothering her, and she'd rather be somewhere else. Asked about swelling in ankles and feet, she brushed it off and said it's probably due to your medication. She needs to realize she works for the patients. If not for the patients, she wouldn't have a job.

I received quality care for my first time visit. Based on the Google reviews I was very hesitant to go. The front staff reassured me that the negative reviews were based on former patients being denied additional narcotic prescriptions.
It turns out there may have been other reasons for the negative reviews, however.
I completed my visit in November, and five months later received a "past due bill" notice. My visit was a routine physical, 100% covered by insurance. When I reached out to billing to determine why my visit was coded incorrectly, I left a voicemail with Billing and received no message or call back.
I have attempted to call multiple times with no one to pick up or answer. As a medical practice I find this to be very unprofessional.
