“Spent an evening here for a weekend getaway and hiking trip. The lodge is lovely, spacious and clean. Room location tip: rooms closest to the lobby include views with the pool. Further from the lobby it’s more lake. (At the time of this posting there is some construction happening with the creation of a walkway next to the lake). Restaurant is nice with good food - nothing too fancy. Breakfast is continental with fresh fruit, breads, spreads and waffles and a lovely view. My only suggestion is they lower the lights at the bar during the evening. The restaurant has a diner feel which is hard to balance with a bar inside. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay.”

“From the road it doesn't look good. But we were very surprised how nice it was. The motel is old, but clean, safe, and everyone was very nice. It's a hidden gem in my humble opinion, very close to Falls creek state park which was excellent. Nothing fancy but very inexpensive and convenient. If you're not a snob, it's very nice.”
