I've loved this store, but today was just terrible. I came to Ulta to buy some La Roche Posay products because Ulta had a $5 off a $40 purchase coupon, I wanted to use my points, and the products are HSA eligible. They didn't have the face wash I was looking for even though the app said it was in stock. The employee that helped me said that happens a lot. Okay, maybe that should be addressed then??
I got their Effaclar toner and serum. When I got to the register the employee didn't even know how to split the payment between two cards. The manager came up and I was able to use the remaining amount on my HSA card, then covered the rest with my debit card. The remaining amount seemed high, so I asked if the points were being used and she said yes. It showed something like $22 off the purchase so I paid and left.
Once I got home I looked at the receipt and my membership points weren't used on the purchase š I called the store and they said if I came back to the store they could refund the initial purchase, ring the products up again, then use my membership points on the second purchase. So I made an unnecessary trip back to Spring Hill to get this issue fixed.
When I walked in and explained the issue they looked at me like they didn't know what to do with this problem. **they were different associates** One of them started the process after I explained what the person on the phone said would be done. She refunded the amount to each card, then started the second purchase. When she was ringing the products up for the corrected total I asked if the $5 coupon would be applied to this transaction as well, she said no because it was a single use coupon. I said sure, but I wouldn't be making this second transaction if the points were used the first time like I asked. She said it's how it works in their system and there was nothing she could do. So the $5 coupon was just used for nothing š
Once the items were scanned and my points were used like I asked, I tried charging my HSA card the exact amount as before...and the transaction wasn't completed. I'm assuming because the refunded amount wasn't posted to our HSA account immediately. So because the first transaction was done incorrectly I'm having to pay out of my bank account for the full total š
It felt like they thought *I* was the problem, when I just wanted to get these higher cost products at the best price. My points weren't used initially, I had to make a second trip to the store, I lost the $5 coupon, and I had to pay out of pocket for the products. Talk about a let down ā¹ļø

Iāve given this particular location grace for a long time. I understand customer service and the toll it takes. But Iāve never had a positive experience here. Today was the last straw.This was one of the first times Iāve done a pick up by myself. Iām visually impaired and I didnāt notice on the email that I needed an id to pick up my order. Honest mistake. I was frustrated but I had my id brought to me. The employee told me āItās in the emailā. Ok? Maybe not be so condescending? I was embarrassed by my impairment and didnāt want to admit that I honestly didnāt see that policy. Something like, āI apologize for the inconvenience but itās required for pick upā would have been better. After I got my id and showed her, she once again says āYou donāt have to be upset with me, itās in the emailā She didnāt need to add insult to injury. I got it the first time: you think Iām an idiot who canāt read⦠It all seemed so unnecessary. Iāve been in customer service jobs and I know the customer isnāt always right, but there are ways to de-escalate situations in a professional manner. Iāll just stick to paying for shipping to my house.

Worst customer service ever. Did not get informed about needing ID to pick it up so I asked for a refund. It takes 5 days to processā¦I call fake . It can be done immediately at the register. I will never shop here again. Customer service help line was no help

Had THE BEST experience with the associate, Dallas, she was extremely helpful and made my day 10x better with her bright and bubbly personality!!! Seriously donāt think I have ever had anyone at any store genuinely care that much about helping me find what I needed!! 10/10 recommend this location and a special shout out to DALLAS!!! <3

Went in to get a shade matched and the manager Mackenzie āhelpedā me but someone needs to say something about her hygiene. She had throw up on her jacket and smelled like throw up as well. She looked very unkept and unhygienic. She also tried to sell me Clinique when I had mentioned that I would like to be shade matched to Fenty. She expressed that Fenty would not be a good fit for me and brought up Clinique. When I told her that I still would like to try Fenty she visibly got upset and walked away. I tried asking another associate there was no one to be seen. I walked around some more and finally someone else comes out from the back I had asked her for help and she expressed that she was going on break but could get someone to help me. It was the same person from before so I left my stuff went to Sephora.

I had a lovely experience here. I came in for the first time, asked for something that would match my skin tone in something like a tint or light foundation (an everyday look) and we tried three and picked the best one. I also asked for a lipstick that might be a new everyday favorite and went with velvet teddy.
It costs me 100 dollars but I also included a blender and a moisturizer as well as the actual time and products the lady had to use to help me find my match. For all of that I think they are expensive but also reasonable (make up is a luxury after all) I will definitely come back and add some more everyday items soon!

This place is bout as good as it gets for fancy face painting and nose powdering, if you pick up what I've just laid down. I was patronizing this fine establishment for some Gucci guilty. If you don't know about Gucci guilty be careful. This stuff ain't for beginners. Trim some of the hair on your face. Put on some Clean clothes and spray This you'll be married by next week.
