I was told at signing my rate was locked in for a year. Then I received a rate change notice at month 6. Please beware they will raise prices and when I called to explain, I was told there was nothing they could do. I'd advise using another company.

Poor customer service!I received a letter about my father's storage unit with this company. He passed away in January and I was unaware of the unit. I called the company regarding the letter and they said I would have to fill out some forms to get access to the unit. Well, the letter wasn't received until April 5th and they were already set to sell the contents of the unit on the 9th. Really? You're going to give someone 4 days to get things in order? I told the representative that I live 18 hours away and could not make it to Tennessee in that time. I informed them that he may have shared the unit with someone else and the woman confirmed that the other person's name was on the account, but they didn't have any contact information for her. I told her I could give her the contact information and the representative flat out REFUSED to take the information for the other person on the account!Sorry excuse for a company.

Do not rent . Couldn’t even get a working gate code and never got to use. Customer service is the worst and they have no one working location. Takes a act of congress to get them on the phone

Tried to use the lock vending machine - got charged twice and received no lock. Called customer service. Was assured that my $24 would be refunded but never got it back. The storage units are fine but definitely don’t trust the lock vending machine or customer service.

Great prices, web tools, and location, but double-check whether your truck can access. All our things needed to go into temporary storage until our new home was ready. Before making my reservations, I called specifically to ask if the location could accept a 53-foot trailer. I was told yes, and reserved by storage units. My driver called saying it wouln't fit. I called RedDot again to verify, and they said I could cancel without penalty. So if you have a small truck to access the site, this is a great option

Great customer service, the only issue I have is when ask if I was going to park a vehicle &you tell the kiosk no but a trailer no one's there And u park because $$$$ isn't an issue and the one guy they do got witch is very nice and courteous guy doesn't really know and puts will be towed stickers so you have to move everything until you talk to somebody other than that great great place

I have to say, storage unit folks can sometimes difficult to deal with. Well, not at Red Dot Storage, Springfield! They have one of the most consistently excellent customer service programs, with the nicest people to deal with, I've experienced. And no long wait time on the phone. They are great. Don't hesitate to use Red Dot, I say.
