Such a lovely hometown pharmacy. Locals were there filling their prescriptions and having lunch. I noticed this old time pharmacy as I drove through the backroads from Nashville. I stopped to take a few photos and noticed they had a restaurant inside. I was pleasantly surprised with their healthy selections for the day. Vegetable stir fry over rice was delicious. Their homemade chicken salad is juts like my mom used to make. I ordered the chocolate shake and the sweet young server told me it wasn't your typical chocolate shake as it was dairy-free, made with soy icecream and oat milk and their own homemade chocolate syrup. I loved it! They even had a cooler with some healthy snacks like peanut butter balls protein bites! Great place in a beautiful historic town In Springfield TN.

The curry/chickpea sandwich and blueberry cinnamon smoothie was the best lunch I’ve ever had in Springfield. You get to sit in a vintage booth or at the counter, it’s a cute little place with delicious food and excellent customer service.

My wife pulled her Business and went back to Walgreens. The limited hours were hard for her to get there after work. An the Lady working mouthed about coming in close to closing time. I still like the Small town Business and Don't want to change.

This drug store was filling my girlfriend and my script for 3 years. We have been taking it for two decades. 2 weeks ago, they suddenly decided they were not going to fill it anymore. We had no warning. We both got very sick going through withdraws that could have killed us. We had lived in our car for the past 3 years and had just got housing and now I've lost my job because of the sickness. This pharmacy acted very irresponsibly. They could have gave us a warning on the last refill, so we could have weaned off or had time to find another provider. Southside sends a big message to its customers when it does something like this... "WE DONT CARE ABOUT YOU!" Is the pharmacy you want to handle your medicines?

I am a prescribing doctor and a customer of South Side Drug, and I am always impressed with their care for patients. Many times they have gone the extra mile for me, my wife, or someone I care for. They work hard to educate about pharmaceuticals, health, or how to save some money. I encourage anyone to try out South Side. They are great people.
