Star is conveniently located next door to Kroger in Springfield. The selection of wine and spirits is extensive. The staff was very helpful and recommended some local bourbons to my husband, which were VERY GOOD!
Note: They don't sell beer here.

Everyone's always friendly and helpful. If you don't know exactly what you want, they're great about giving some really good suggestions/recommendations and helping you decide.

This place opens and closes at their discretion. They are never open on time, and I’ve seen them lose major business because of this. They also just close up mid day and put sign on door saying be back in ten minutes but the store stays closed for 30-45 minutes. Bad business. Don’t go here.

Do not use your debit card with this location as their machine will put three or four charges on your card and take you a long time to rectify. This location also did not check ID which is a Tennessee state law. I don't believe this place to be a true American Business I believe they are doing some things that are illegal that just fall under a gray area and after having to call the police on a matter with regards to my credit card they will definitely see a lawsuit filed against them as well as Federal complaints with regards to their practices. I would do business elsewhere but to each their own

The guy that was working there on July 29th is a creep he was taking pictures of me when I walked through the door. Told myself I wouldn’t go back there after he had been drunk on the job another woman and I could smell the alcohol on his breath. He wouldn’t even check out my stuff to keep me there longer and was making me feel uncomfortable. Will never go there again no matter how convenient it is. Pretty sure he just got arrested not too long ago. And when I tried to call the store today to speak to someone about this HE answered the phone and told me not a manager or owner was around.
