They refuse to deliver our packages and they keep them at the post office. We’ve repeatedly tried to work with them, expecting some level of problem-solving or compromise but nope.
They claim they have “nowhere to back up,” yet there is PLENTY of space that could be used with a little EFFORT. UPS and Fed Ex deliver to us with no problem. I went in to pick up my packages and the man told me all I needed was my ID so he could verify that my name matched the name on the package. My husband went in the next day with his ID to pick up his packages and the lady rudely gave him a hard time even though his ID matched the packages name. So you aren’t going to deliver our packages and then you are going to give him a hard time when we have to race there after work just to pick them up? And we were told different things. Absolutely ridiculous and super frustrating.

I love the staff at the tellico office. They have went above and beyond to help me with my packages! I can't thank them enough for all they do.

Terrible customer service. Got locked out of my mailbox and had to reach out to corporate due to them holding my mail. No one there knows how to do their job. This place would be great for a first amendment audit.

Several packages to our Tellico Plains address have reached the post office and then been sent on to Knoxville. From there it gets sent to Chattanooga (where it originated from) and then back to Tellico Plains. Today, we had 2 packages coming in. The postman/lady (don't know which) brought one to the house and left the other one, along with regular mail, in the mailbox. Not good service at all.

I have had issues receiving my mail, so I went to the Tellico Plains Post Office and they were so helpful and went above and beyond my expectations to figure out what was happening with my incoming mail. I want to Thank them for the information and assistance in resolving this issue in a quick, and professional matter...

They found my package! I was waiting some medicine and I was worried that someone else got it but the shipper listed a different tracking number from the one that was on the actual package itself. They were so helpful with finding my package. Thank you so much! For helping me find it!

Growing up in Tellico, I’ve always been acquainted with just about everyone in this small town. Throughout the years, our town has grown with the addition of some new folks that call our town home. Even though there have been some changes, one thing remains constant-there’s still a friendly face and helpful soul behind the counter at the post office. It’s almost as if Roberta Childress trained these folks on how to be “Home-grown Tellico” because I can assure you, they are as kind as can be with a friendly smile every time I walk through the doors!

Wow, this was by far my best trip to the post office yet. I had to stop in to ship some packages and the customer service was too notch! Missy was so nice she was able to answer all of my questions and she knew how to help me with ease! Definitely going to be using this Post office more frequently!

Unfriendly staff. My son tried to ship a long package (72"x20"x5") to me, but this PO said it could not be shipped to an military APO due to dimensions. I knew this was not completely true as I have received larger packages. My son was able to ship with USPS ground through a different PO. If this PO was helpful, they would have offered alternative USPS options, not just Priority... No wonder this PO has a bad rep...pathetic.
