Had the most lovely visit to this wonderful cafe today. The young man working the counter is so well suited for customer service. He was helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. His little line about the fish swimming to the table that he made to the patrons ahead of us was so clever. I appreciated him taking the time to show me the gluten free options available. I settled on a smash burger, as did my husband. Mine was on gluten free bread. The bread was delicious! I'd love to know where you source it from. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the overall atmosphere. This is a must stop if you're visiting "the quieter side of the Smokies".Dietary restrictions: They have many gluten free options and take extra care for those with an allergy as opposed to a preference.

Went to Apple Valley Cafe for lunch yesterday. The staff was very nice and helpful. You order in line and the food is brought out to your table. I got a smash burger and upgraded to wagu beef. The burger was very good and cooked perfectly. The brioche bun was super fresh and buttery. I upgraded my side to Chili and it was pretty good as well. I like onion and green pepper in my chili. My girl got a grilled chicken sandwich. She said it was good but a little dry. Her thick spiral fries were seriously good. I may get fries next visit. I had a cold Yee Haw dunkel beer. Nice dark and hoppy. The atmosphere is like an old axe cut cabin. Very cool inside. The condiment cow is hilarious and works very well. All in all it was a very good experience. I would go again and definitely reccomend a visit.

What a fun restaurant! Great food, food was great! Service was fast and we didn't have to wait long for our food, but we went on a Thursday for an early dinner. There is a nice space outside to sit, but we ate inside because of the heat. The condiments were fun to get with the cow on the wall. You got to milk him for them. Fun!

My food at Apple Valley was delicious! I will probably be back for more the next time I am in Townsend. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and understanding. I actually called ahead before I came to the restaurant to find out about gluten free options. The young woman on the phone was super nice and went through all my options without me even having to ask. She followed up by asking if I had any more questions and was very knowledgeable of the menu and what I was able to eat. Overall I am super grateful to have a good place to eat and great customer service. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread options.

Nice place with order, pay at the counter, and they bring food to you. Service was fast and friendly. The food was very tasty. Had a salad and double smashburger with fries and a 33oz water. Was $35, so prices were fair. We were hungry, so photos after we started ???

This was one of the cutest places we visited on our trip across Tennessee. The condiment cow at the restaurant was adorablea. The food was so good. We got chicken, chile, BBQ pulled pork, fries, and drinks. All delicious. Then we went to the outdoor store and on to the general store. It was a quaint little trip of shops and we will be back next year!

This was a cute, quirky restaurant we stumbled upon on our journey to Pigeon Forge. We ate the smash burgers and fries and squeezed our condiments from the condiment cow ?. The food was good and the service too. I wish we were hungry enough for the fried pies but the main meals filled us up.

What a wonderful place to visit with your pet in Townsend!Staff was kind and welcoming to us bringing our puppy Sadie to the restaurant while we ate dinner. Sadie was treated with some pieces of cheese, and they brought out a bowl of water for her. Our food was exceptional, and just a great place to relax with your pup. We visit the area probably about once a year, so we will definitely be back on our next visit!

The Apple Valley cafe in Townsend was absolutely delicious. Everything about it! Food was great. Service was great and the atmosphere! We stayed in Townsend for 6 days and ate there 4 times and then we enjoyed ice cream and the fried pies. I can't wait for our next vacation to go down there and visit them again. Definitely, a must go to restaurant!

We had the brisket sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich. In my opinion there was too much bun for the amount of meat, but the food was good.
